It was truly a great episode. It is in my top 10 favourite Sja for the right reasons. It had Clyde And Rani in this who were stunning through this episode right at the start till the end. A great trope to this. It was great to see that Sarah Jane didn't do most of the hard work and that the companions got to do a lot of the work. And it was kind of good to see robots. Red and yellow stood out for the robots in my opinion. It has a great remark. And It still is brilliant. No Mr Smith for a lot of it, just the companions doing the dirty work. And the first part is very strong, and so is the second part. It is tougher to say which part was stronger because they were both good and funny. Now I haven't reviewed things in a while because I just like watching things more then reviewing them but it is a great story. It was a solid episode. The best will always be Whatever Happened to Sarah Jane, in my opinion anyway. It had good effects on this one. And the light the red one that helps the robots to see is very bright so be careful whilst watching this one that you don't hurt your eyes. But it does feel like a special. Enough said this review is made bye Rohan

Review of both parts :

Clyde and Rani are the main characters in this story as they wake up to find they appear to be the only ones left on Earth. Everybody else seems to have just disappeared but without causing the catastrophes which would occur if this happened without it being controlled carefully. They then discover another person, a boy who is being pursued by robots which have come to Earth to find him.

The story from Gareth Roberts is clever and is expertly developed to make sense. There is drama in the idea and it is very well presented to make you feel they really are on an abandoned planet. The dialogue and performances are excellent with Anjli Mohindra and Daniel Anthony as brilliant as ever as Rani and Clyde.

The robots are fantastic, impressively created and fun and the plot is very good. Once we reach the conclusion it is a little bit of a run of the mill in how the alien race bring their ruler back but overall the second part has lots of action and interest to maintain the quality from Part 1.

My ratings: Both parts 8/10.
