- Much of the movie centres around a teenage girl falling pregnant.
- A teenage girl explains that she's been moved to different foster homes several times. And has been abused sexually by the men that live there.
Violence & Gore

- A teenage girl and her mother push and grab each other's hair, as the girl tries to flee her home. The girl punches her mother in the stomach, pushes her and runs out of the building. The girl then enters a cab and the mother has made her way in front of it. Pounding on the car and demanding the girl to get out.
- A teenage girl is tackled by two police officers for mistakenly breaking into a home.
- A teenage girl throws up outside on the nature strip while arguing with her father. The vomit can only be seen from a distance.
- A teenage girl argues with a woman but is restrained from her father. She then faints.
Profanity

- Apple's mother attacks her across the face with with a razor blade held in her mouth. There is sound of tearing skin, but the wound is not shown. Only blood dripping from the side of her face which is away from the camera is shown dripping.
