Excellent example of a great show!

Admittedly, a big fan of the series, but this is a top 10 episode for me. Shawn at his best, the horror park is a great backdrop for episode and provides excellent fuel for phobias of Gus. Think comedy version of "Hellfest" instead of horror. Also, episode is at the right point in the series with Shawn in terms of relationship with Juliet vs friendship with Gus. Only thing missing is the fun of some of the other episodes where they are in costumes.

One of the funnest episodes

This was such a fun episode - I love the Scooby Doo references and the fact that they met Ken working at Scarefest. I wish they would have written Ken into more episodes - I feel they could have used him more and developed his character .

I thought the scene where Sean tells Gus to squeeze thru the window like Winnie the Pooh was hilarious.

Only thing that didn't track with me is that the kid died on the Ferris Wheel - what did that have to go with Scarefest - they should have had him die in the haunted house or some other Halloween themed rude otherwise why was Scarefest the impetus for the girls retribution when the park apparently stayed open after the accident they just didn't have Scarefest?

Decently fun horror episode

I liked this episode well enough for what it was, but I will admit that after the masterpiece episode of Juliet and Shawn getting together, it was a bit of a let down, and did not really home run as much as they usually did. And that is fine. Not every episode of every show is going to be a utter masterpiece. But I do enjoy parts of it, such as Shawn and Gus running into their former assistant, which was a lot of fun. And I did enjoy seeing Gus's reaction to the reality that Shawn and Juliet were together, where he pretended to be fine with it initially, but on his own time was actually really sad about it as it took away from his time with Shawn going forward.
