This is one of those films which is so bad, it's good. In rural Michigan, a girl is taken to the woods of the "Evil Dead" where she loves plants too much. She gives birth to something that crawls out of her, about twice her size. A farm couple tends to the creature and have converted their barn into a human meat locker, greeting people who are lost and criminals.
Meanwhile there is a traveler on the roads warning people to stay away.
That is pretty much it...Oh yes this is another battle of good vs evil, one that doesn't involve Frankenstein. The acting was bad. They really needed some Michigan UP accents instead of what appeared to be Southern country. There were some good lines, but not overpoweringly clever. The beast is kept in a cage with a wooden door and a stick lock that didn't do anything, especially how the door was hinged.
Worth a view for people who enjoy bad films. (You know who you are.) 1 star for the norm.
Parental Guide: F-bomb, vine rape, nudity (Sandee Rager, Erick Adam, Ash Leigh Mitchell)
