Warning: Spoilers
Gruppo Alcuni's "Pet Pals", Italy's animated TV show, has jumped from traditional 2D to 3D CGI in their first entry in computer animation in its first theatrical film.

Expanding beyond the first three seasons of the show, thid film takes place in months after the show's third season finale. It introduces new characters and a new villain group, leaded by the name of Crow Witch.

The plot kicks off when Moby the Dog (The leader of the "Pet Pals") calls to reunite the members, which consisting of Holly the Cat, Diva the Duck, Tophat the Rabbit, Pio the Frog, and Nameless the (silent) Chick, to uncover the secrets of Marco Polo's Code (which is secretly kept in Aldo's library in Venice, Italy) and, maybe, to stop Crow Witch to drain Venice's water canals.

The show creators, Francisco & Sergio Manfio, are involved with them writing (w/ Antonio Garrido) and the latter directing. The film's animation is made in-house at The Alcuni Group, Venice, Italy, while the credits short "A Recipe for a Cake..." is made outside by Bigrock in Italy.

It's definitely be a mystery-adventure, with a lot of laughs, in a vein of the "National Treasure" installments.
