Exclusive: Christine Taylor has been tapped as the lead of TV Land's untitled Terri Minsky comedy pilot (form. Rip City), while 3rd Rock from the Sun co-star Kristen Johnston is set as the lead of another TV Land comedy pilot, the untitled Mark Reisman project. Scrubs alum Donald Faison will also play a lead in that pilot, formerly known as Ex Men. Meanwhile, Amy Acker (Dollhouse) has landed the only female regular role opposite stars Michael Ealy and Warren Kole in the USA Network's buddy cop dramedy pilot Common Law. The untitled Terri Minsky project is a multi-camera office comedy set at Rip City Cola, a regional beverage manufacturer and distributor in Oregon. It centers on a thirtysomething, Ivy League-educated New York woman (Taylor) who takes over as the boss, but her enthusiasm is dampened when her boyfriend doesn't follow her and nobody at the new company wants her there.

There you are, all curled up on the sofa, holding a mug of hot cocoa with one hand, knitting an unsightly reindeer sweater with the other. Your tree is twinkling, your fireplace is glowing, and your neighbors are caroling semi-competently on your snow-dusted lawn. Is there anything that could make this scene more festive? Are they corny? Like an Iowa farm. Predictable? You can set your watch...
