In navigating the dating scene of younger and older individuals who date without borders, this film narrates the stigmas of relationships of foreign nationals, respectively with South Africans for various reasons. The subjects of the film are in the "youth bracket", "older couples bracket", and stories of individuals who are simply dating. The film opts to follow Nadia and John's story as main (a couple that is in a multinational relationship. John being from Congo and Nadia being a South African citizen). We look at them as a couple who overcame all the challenges, xenophobic stigmas associated with their relationship and the perception that "foreign nationals marry for citizenship".
