Is It Real Or Isn't It?

This was kind of bizarre story, but aren't most of them on CSI? A women is pictured dead on a website photo that makes it to the CSI lab. Gregg says it is real while Nick thinks it is fake. They find out it IS fake, but several days later the woman in the picture IS found dead in the same place. Huh?

We go from there, leading to three young and fairly well-off guys who are visiting in Vegas to see who can finish their "bucket list." One of the items is "kill a prostitute." One of the guys is a real nerd.

In a secondary story, parts of Hodges motorcycle are found in a separate, fatal accident. He and Ray go on that case.

Overall, a "fair" episode, not that memorable but not bad, either, except for a cameo appearance by "Carrot Top." Now, there's a weird dude who fits right into this TV show.

A Dead Hooker, the Pimp and Three Friends

Greg is watching a sensationalist site and believes a woman in a picture is dead, while his colleagues believe the death is staged. He bets US$ 100 with Nick and they head to the crime scene. They find the woman actually dead, but their further investigation shows that the picture was taken the day before, and the woman's time of death at four to six hours ago. Soon they learn that she is a prostitute called Amber Rowe, who lived with her pimp Craig Higgins. Archie researches Amber's photo when she was alive and dead, and the CSI reaches three friends from Chicago that are connected to her. They become suspects of Amber's murder. Meanwhile, Hodges brings a motorcycle to the CSI garage, and tells to Langston that he had bought that vintage all original bike. Langston shows that the motorcycle was repaired with original and new parts. Further, there is blood and the severed tip of a thumb in the air filter. Hodges decides to follow the evidences and investigate what happened to the owner.

"Man Up" is a reasonable episode of CSI, with two stories. The prostitute that faked a picture of her death and is found dead on the next day in the same site is interesting, and well-resolved. Hodges' plot with his motorcycle is weaker, but not so bad. My vote is seven.

Some guys from Chicago are together for a college reunion. They play a game of challenges. One of the step involves murdering a hooker. So two of them set up the slow witted third guy by posing a hooker and pretending she is dead. Greg becomes enamored with the case when the girl actually turns up dead. Also, Hodges is cheated when he buys what he thinks is a classic motorcycle from some hillbilly junk dealers.

C.S.I. Will Always Be A Classic Show

I didn't watch C.S.I. while it was still in it's original run, but I got an itching to watch while exploring Hulu! IMO it is one of the best shows ever made. I live Nick, Ray, Greg, Katherine, and Grissom the best, Sarah, Warrick, and Doc. are good too.
