Paul is seen at a doctor's appointment, but the man does not have anything to go by whether he has contracted the disease or not. It appears he has come to this doctor searching for an answer about the possibility of ever getting Parkinson's. The specialist is not forthcoming. He is just going down a list of things, but only offers a prescription for anxiety, clearly not the answer he did not want to hear.

When he see him next, he is sitting with Adele in her office. He has come to her to make up for the truncated last week's session. He mentions his experience with the specialist. Adele zeroes in the fact that he is jumping into conclusions. It does not appear he is carrying the gene that will make him develop the disease. Then again, his fears to be incapacitated, is proved wrong by Adele, who has taken the time to look at statistics, which prove how wrong he really is.

Paul talks about Sunil. He brings up Sunil's last session. Adele listens attentively. She is quite disturbed by the way Paul handled the incident that involved his daughter-in-law. She sees in Sunil a disturbed person capable of snapping and causing bodily harm to Julia. In fact, Adele suggests Paul might not be seeing the danger in the situation, what with the bat in the house, not controlling his anger. She has an issue with his 'wait and see' attitude. Adele wonders aloud what was Paul thinking in letting this incident go any further. She feels Sunil might be able to harm Julia.

Adele also touches on Paul's fantasy seeing Adele involved in a romantic liaison with him. Paul talked last week about seeing both of them together, helping one another in their cases, as a possibility. In fact, Adele asks Paul whether he has noticed her pregnancy, something that clearly surprises Paul. Without going into it, Adele tries to bring a sense of reality between herself and her patient.

Paris Barclay directed the episode written by Anya Epstein and Dan Futterman, who are involved in the production team. Mr. Barclay gets excellent pacing between the Adele and Paul. It is a joy to watch Gabriel Byrne and Amy Ryan playing.
