Sci-fi on a budget of zero

Warning: Spoilers
ALIEN VENGEANCE II: ROGUE ELEMENT is another zero budget indie science fiction film from director Jason Liquori. This one's about a bunch of characters holed up in a remote house where they're menaced by aliens unseen. The template is undoubtedly THE THING, with the finger of suspicion falling on each of the inhabitants in turn, and when the alien does make a climactic appearance in a bathroom, you'll laugh out loud at the sight of it. The line delivery is incredibly wooden, the dialogue seems to be entirely ad libbed, and you have to smile at the whole thing.

Seriously?

Two other reviews here at present and if they're not written by people who worked on this film then something is definitely wrong with their sense faculties.

This movie is dire, abysmal, terrible. Not one of those so bad it's good films. This is just bad period.

The sound sucks, the acting is a joke, the effects are laughable and to sum up the whole film let's just say you'd have more fun at the dentist getting a root canal. Without anaesthetic.

Truth is I have rarely seen a worse movie. This film is so bad that I kid you not it could contaminate any film in close proximity to it. Ideally it should be dropped in the Antarctic and nuked from orbit.

My rating? IMDb won't let me give it zero so I've had to give it 1, but that is an insult to all other films that score that rating. They are all equivalent to Citizen Kane compared to this putrid pile of junk.

Don't just walk away from this, run! run! for your very sanity. You have been warned!

A group of friends meet after many years, but their reunion is marred by the possible presence of an alien.

This movie is a sequel to Alien Vengeance. It picks up nicely where the first movie left off, but can also stand alone.

The story is frightening, but has elements of humor. There is also a great deal of suspense as the six friends try to figure out which one of them may be the alien.

The action takes place mainly at one location which lends itself to the feeling of the characters being trapped. The film avoids the feeling of a single set stage play by bringing in other characters at different locations.

The acting is quite good. Kevin White is funny and sincere as a man who believes he must save the world from aliens. Debbie Rochon shines as always.

The special effects are quite good and add to the suspense.

I would recommend this films to anyone who enjoys horror films

College friend or alien?

As a person that has recently gotten together with friends I have not seen in years I could totally relate. I loved the irony that an old friend could actually be an alien. The movie had the feel of one of those old mysteries where a bunch of people are trapped in an old house and they know someone there is a killer. It kept me guessing for quite awhile.

It was fun to watch director Jason Liquori do more than a cameo in this movie. I also loved Debbie Rochon's performance as always.

Alien Vengeance has all the elements you expect from this type of sci-fi. It was fun and kept my interest. Liquori has a habit of adding some campy elements that I find fun.

The score definitely enhanced every scene.

I also loved the make-up done by Making Faces Parties.

I would definitely recommend this to those looking for a fun movie.
