An M Night Shyamalan feel to it
safenoe1 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Vali Chandrasekaran wrote this gripping episode of 30 Rock, where the pieces fall into place at the end in a twist that M Night Shyamalan would be proud of for sure. Reminds me of The Sixth Sense. Anyway, it's an eerie coincidence that Vali and M Night are both Indian-Americans, and they come up with Sixth Sense style endings.

Great to see Sue have a more prominent role in this episode.

It's easy to forget that 30 Rock and Aaron Sorkin's Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip debuted on NBC at the same time. Conventional wisdom was that Sorkin's powerhouse series be the one that would survive the first season, with 30 Rock being a one season wonder. But history has proved otherwise.

It's Never Too Late for Now (#5.15)

Warning: Spoilers
Liz decides to become a spinster, gets a at, makes her hair accordingly and gives up on men. But Jenna drags her to a club where she has a great night with a guy, coincidence or not? Jack has trouble to negotiate with his babysitter. And Pete and Frank start a band with an awesome hit "Its never too late for now".

Many funny moments. Especially when Jack negotiates with the babysitter and tries to make her think that he has the upper hand because he doesn't care about his baby.

Was also fun to see the little detective like analysis Liz did.

I just don't like the common negative image for cats. They are such lovable animals, had them all my life. It irritates me to see this overused joke about unhappy women having cats, I just wonder how many are staying in the shelter because of this dumb cultural view. An why does a character who decide to not lose hope for a relationship get rid of the cat, it is possible to have both! Still a good episode, but the cat thing is my pet peeve that makes me enjoy it less.
