This episode is a proof that "The Big Bang Theory" used to be MUCH better in past. Season five and six aren't even close to this intelligent humor, mixed with good performances and writing. Sheldon is still a big nerd, and his scenes are hilarious as always-- specially the testimonial taking back thing. Penny is also hilarious when she tries to help Sheldon in the bar, with that ironic phrase "sometimes you just can't win", pretending to understand what Sheldon is talking about. It's a big wish of mine to this go back to what it was until season four, but I hardly doubt so. It is now a very commercial program that entertains every kind of public, excluding, unfortunately, it's own fan base.

In this ep from the last season of "The Big Bang Theory": Howard informs his friends they'll be interviewed by an FBI Agent before he gets clearance for a defense project. Turns out she's a gorgeous woman (Eliza Dushku) so Raj takes a drink and eats a rum cake before babbling he doesn't want to be deported back to India, Leonard tries his new approach of flirting before finding out she's married, and Sheldon doesn't believe her even when flashing her badge since just because he has a Justice League card, he doesn't know Batman! Actually, while Raj and Leonard think they're responsible for Howard not getting his clearance because of what I've just mentioned, it's Sheldon's fault because of his mentioning of Howard's accident with a space vehicle that he wanted to impress a woman with. And it's galling Sheldon to the point of him going to Penny as she's tending bar...I'll stop there and just say how funny the whole thing is and how awesome so see Ms. Dushku playing straight to these funny men! Had loved her in "Buffy", "Dollhouse", and that series that she was in between them. At the time of this broadcast, she had been in the audience of "Dancing with the Stars" when a basketball star friend of her's named Rick was one of the contestants. Anyway, also glad to see Kaley Cuoco back as Penny though in the bar scene, she was still recovering from her riding accident from a few weeks before so you only saw her waist up behind that bar. So on that note, "The Apology Insufficiency" was another very funny ep of "The Big Bang Theory."

This was a really fun and funny episode from the fourth series of 'The Big Bang Theory'.
Every character gets their own little moment to shine, and it was good to see Sheldon actually having some moments of guilt. Of course he adapts to this in his own unique way.
From Raj with the rum cake, to Penny and Sheldon at the bar, this episode moves at pace, and feels quite 'complete', which certain episodes from the fourth series have not. It still does feel like a show that's learning as it goes.
Overall, this was a great deal of fun, and I enjoyed it.
When it's on top form this sitcom is very good indeed.

In Defense of Howard

Howard gets a golden opportunity, but he must pass a background check. Of course, they are going to interview his friends and colleagues (which are the same people). It turns out the FBI agent is a knock down gorgeous woman, so Raj can't handle that and mumbles after eating rum cake. Leonard is trying to look more macho and confident and asks her out, making a fool of himself. I won't say anything about Sheldon's interview because it would spoil the fun, but don't miss it. There is also a hilarious scene with Penny tending bar when Sheldon comes in to drink (filled with guilt).

This episode was really funny. Sheldon being Sheldon. Him ratting Howard out and almost doing it to Sheldon was pretty funny! Raj and Leonard's interview were pretty amusing too. Sheldon drinking at Penny's bar was also a great scene with him selecting a drink and really not enjoying the shot she gave him. The best thing is that trying to apologize to Howard Sheldon offered him his spot on the couch. Almost makes me cry like Raj. Even though it lasted only around 90 seconds it was still adorable!
