Hope you’re finished with lunch, because the new red band trailer for Hatchet III is filled with some gory, gruesome scenes. Enjoy.
Victor Crowley lives! Just a few short weeks after Hatchet II hit home video and literally sold off the shelves faster than the major retailers could stock it, a third installment was green-lit by Dark Sky Films and ArieScope Pictures.
Danielle Harris and Kane Hodder return for the next film in the now bona fide worldwide Hatchet franchise which finds a search and recovery team heading into the haunted Louisiana swamp to pick up the pieces of the first two films and “Marybeth” (Harris) seeking out the secret to ending the voodoo curse that has kept the paranormal entity of “Victor Crowley” (Hodder) haunting and terrorizing Honey Island Swamp for decades.
Also starring Zach Galligan (Gremlins, Waxwork), Derek Mears (Friday The 13th, Predators), Caroline Williams (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2...

The hit sitcom "Two and a Half Men" is a lot like meth: Nobody admits to getting involved with it, but it's so huge that you know some of your friends are indulging and not telling you. It's the highest-rated comedy show on television, and yet seems to exist in a strange void where nobody really talks about it (it has never really come up around the MTV News coffee machine the way that "Breaking Bad," "The Office" or even "How I Met Your Mother" usually do).
Still, it's a huge show with a big problem. Obviously, Charlie Sheen's character (seemingly a slightly fictionalized version of himself, often involving prostitutes) is the show's biggest draw, but the star's personal life seems to finally have infringed too heavily on his work. He'll be in rehab for three months, which would take us almost to the end of the television season...

I can vividly remember, as a teenager, buying, and loving, Twisted Sister’s 1983 single “I Am (Am Me).” “Wow, Dee Snider’s right!” I thought, cranking up the volume to drown out the protesting cries of my parents and the neighbors’ dog. “I am me! Also? I am!”
Cut to 27 years later and the make up-loving, heavy metal vocalist has been given his own Osbournes-esque reality show, Growing Up Twisted, the first two episodes of which debuted last night on A&E. Alas, the “me” that “I am” will probably be watching something else next week. It’s not that Snider’s dislikeable.

If there are those of yout hat have been waiting for a time where I sit down to write this column and finally stop talking about Doctor Who than I’ve got some really good news for you: next week will finally be that column. This week, however, I’m still bubbling over having re-lived The Big Bang and just dying to speak about it in full now that it has finally aired in here in the Us of A.
Unlike season finale’s of the past this whacky bit of timey-whimey goodness did something that I wasn’t expecting at all in becoming a fairy tale by the episode’s end. It kicked off rather fast paced from the moment that young Amelia gets up from praying to Santa and doesn’t really stop until we finally learn how the Doctor plans on un-doing the event that caused all...

Sometime later this year, A&E will broadcast the reality TV adventures of Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider, and his extended family on a new show called Growing Up Twisted. Even though the show doesn’t yet have an air date, the Snider family is deep in filming the series, and we were lucky enough to chat with Dee himself on the phone.
Ugo: So why do a reality show with your family?
Dee Snider: Well, we’re doing it for the family. People have been inquiring... Talking... I actually had a deal years ago to do something. Our motivation for doing it at this time is to basically to jumpstart our children’s entertainment careers. They’re all going into the business. So that’s really my motivation for doing it, not so much for myself."
Ugo: Tell us about your family – who will we see on the show?...

In its continuing quest to turn into make VH1 look high brow, A&E announced a bunch of new series for the upcoming year, most of which center around "celebrities." Here's a look at what to expect:
New Reality
The Squad: Prison Police: follows the people who investigate crimes committed by residents of the Tennessee prison system.
The Peacemaker: follows Malik Spellman, who works as a violence prevention counselor in gang-ridden South Central La. He brings his work home with him, often mediating disputes between rival gangs. Ice-t, whose own commitment to violence prevention can be heard in his 1992 single "Cop Killer," is the executive producer.
I'm Heavy: follows obese people trying to lose weight in a six-month therapy and treatment program. Like The Biggest Loser, except none of the fun Temptation Challenges or Jillian Michaels.

Remember when A&E used to air opera and stage plays? (You know, the “Art” part of the cable network’s name, before the ampersand.) Ah, memories. These days, the network has officially changed things up, showing a commitment to celebrity reality fare. The roster of new reality series just announced for next season, for instance, is full of enough B-list celebrities to cast a Love Boat episode. There’s a David Hasselhoff show in which the Baywatch star helps his daughters break into the recording industry. Another with Tony Danza going back to high school to teach an English class in Philadelphia.
