Violence & Gore
- The group of survivors eventually resort to eating the people who have already died. They cut their bodies open (mostly offscreen) and are shown eating human meat throughout the rest of the film. By the end of it, their gory remains are occasionally shown.
- In the plane crash, many people die in different ways (someone breaks their leg, another gets ejected...), it is violent and disturbing but not too graphic.
- Many people die throughout the film and their bodies are frequently shown.
- Some of the survivors find the pilot still alive but about to die. There's blood coming out of his mouth.
- There is a lengthy scene involving the plane crash where you can both see and hear the breaking of bones, mostly legs, as the plane breaks apart and the seats are forced together, crushing many of the passengers.

- The plane crash and the avalanche sequences are particularly intense: sudden loud sounds, people dying, people screaming and trying to survive...
- As the plane breaks apart the seats are forced together, leading to a scene of passengers being crushed, screaming, and their bones being broken, which can be both seen and heard. The entire scene is very intense and uncomfortable, on purpose.
- Characters are forced to cannibalism in order to survive. This can be both disturbing and sad.
