Soap operas are supposed to be an escape, and right now, people need that.
Sadly, Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 11-11-24 promise the beginning of a heartbreaking storyline, with more on the way.

Integrity. Humility. Family.
These are values Americans are hungry for, and Blue Bloods Season 14 Episode 14 showcased them particularly well.
Sadly, there are only four episodes left of this wonderful series.
The seemingly blown-out-of-proportion conflict over Danny possibly getting an award showcased everything that made me fall in love with it, making it even more heartbreaking that Blue Bloods is almost over.
(Courtesy of CBS) Grace Edwards’ Reasons For Not Giving Danny The Award Were Completely Ridiculous
For some reason, Blue Bloods Season 14 Episode 14 brought back Grace Edwards to be the antagonist in the awards story.
This character was only on once before, appearing on Blue Bloods Season 7 Episode 1.
During that long-ago story, she wanted Frank to stop her son from graduating from the Police Academy.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Blue Bloods Season 14 Episode 14 “New York Minute.”] The Reagans get to celebrate the late member of their family, Joe (who died before the series began), in a way they never could in the latest episode of Blue Bloods. Near the beginning of the episode, Frank (Tom Selleck) learns that the Irish Society pulled an invitation to honor Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) with a service award (before the detective even knew about it). It seems to be a first in the 100-odd years of honoring cops and firefighters. The determining factor is, ostensibly, Danny’s reputation and baggage. The mouthpiece is Grace Edwards (Lori Loughlin), with whom Frank previously crossed paths. He sets a meeting with her away from his office—as he does when one might get overheated—and tries to appeal to her. She says that stains in the press and public perception are hard to remove, even as Frank...

Women often compare themselves to others. It’s part of our nature. We frequently want what others have –their beauty, job, or man.
In Three Women Season 1 Episode 9, that came to ruin Sloane’s life, as the episode explored her point of view and Gia and Lily’s.
Sloane is the epitome of an outspoken, fierce woman who speaks her mind and pursues what she wants, but sometimes, people get hurt.

“Sex on Drugs” began a few months after Three Women Season 1 Episode 7 ended, and Gia seemed frustrated that Sloane hadn’t committed to the book yet.
Here is one observation about this series. Except for Maggie, the other three women all have selfish tendencies and think the world revolves around them.

This episode was a scorcher in all the right ways, and we’re totally here for it. Heat advisory warning!
Fire Country Season 3 Episode 4 review provides an after-action fire report covering all the OMGs and holy craps of the episode, with some rambling commentaries from the friends in my head.

Let’s start this review by stating the obvious. This episode’s emergency case correlated closely with the personal conflicts of the various firefighters.
First, we had Vince’s out-of-character quoting of his father after the big blowup on Fire Country Season 3 Episode 3. He’s made a big deal of not parenting like his dad until now.
His father-drama bled into his professionalism, skewing his interactions with the struggling apartment...

How many episodes are left in Blue Bloods’ final season? That’s the question on Blue Bloods fans’ minds as the season barrels along.
Last year, ahead of Blue Bloods Season 14, news broke the series was coming to an end.
Instead of airing the final season all at once, Blue Bloods was divided up into two parts.
One reason for this was the writers’ and SAG/AFTRA strikes that hit Hollywood in 2023.
However, another reason was to give Blue Bloods fans more time to say goodbye to the Reagan family.
Now that the final episodes are airing on CBS, it’s time to see how many episodes remain in the series.
How many episodes are left in Blue Bloods’ final season?
When Blue Bloods’ final season was broken up into two parts, the breakdown was 10 episodes airing last spring and eight to air this fall, giving the final season an 18-episode count.

This Thursday evening at Pmc’s brand-new New York video studio, Bridget Moynahan was invited into the TVLine Spotlight, for an in-depth conversation about getting her start on Sex and the City and in the film Coyote Ugly, ABC’s gone-too-soon Six Degrees and, of course, CBS’ Blue Bloods, which will wrap its 14-season, nearly 300-episode run in December.
With just five episodes left to air (including tonight’s), the prospect of Blue Bloods fading to black — more than four months after filming wrapped — still has the famly drama’s cast getting emotional, Moynahan shared.

The NCIS franchise has continued its dynasty, striking more gold with NCIS: Origins.
In fact, the compelling prequel has scored a full-season order, to my absolute delight, at a time when the television landscape and its offerings seem bleak.
NCIS: Origins works for so many reasons: focusing on young Leroy Jethro Gibbs when NCIS still went by Nis, exploring his grief after the recent loss of his wife and daughter, and kickass ’90s needledrops.
(Photo: Sonja Flemming/CBS)
But the thing about Origins is that it doesn’t feel like Gibbs’ show at all.
And shockingly, that’s the best thing about it.
The series manages to utilize the stalwart, most renowned character of the NCIS universe, Gibbs, as a Trojan Horse to tell Mike Franks’ story, and I love every damn second of it.

We often watch TV to escape an increasingly distressing world, but some shows do the opposite.
TV shows can spark real-world change by raising awareness of issues, and some go even further, encouraging viewers to take action for social change.
Television can be an incredibly powerful yet underrated tool for activism. There’s a reason books and shows are banned in dictatorships, and we need to fight hard not to let them be.
(Disney+/BBC (Screenshot)) Science Fiction Shows Play A Huge Part In Real-World Change
I’ve always admired Rod Serling’s Twilight Zone because Serling so masterfully hid social activism in science fiction stories.
In the 1950s and early 1960s, there were some things he couldn’t say outright.
He was a fierce advocate for racial and sexual equality at a time when those ideas were considered taboo to talk about on television.

On 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 6, it was a night of confessions, which changed several characters’ immediate futures.
While Maddie and Chimney will now prepare to expand their family, Buck suddenly found himself single after Tommy’s confession unraveled their new relationship.
And for Eddie Diaz, well, he found himself back in the church for the first time in many years, and what followed was a necessary and cathartic step forward for him as he continued to deal with the fallout from his son Christopher’s decision to move in with his grandparents.
(Disney/Christopher Willard)
This was the first hour that delves into Eddie’s psyche and complicated feelings about his current state of life.
Returning to church and confessing his sins, he sparked his own journey, ultimately leading to a moment of great importance for Eddie when he shed the mask he’d be hiding behind and allowed himself a moment of fun.

We’re looking forward to the start of another weekend. The great news is the networks give us something to mark that, and tonight, Friday, Nov. 8, is packed with drama and sports.
Fox has the night of sports. After initially starting with a rerun of the Accused season 2 premiere, the network will run into college football coverage. UCLA hosts Iowa in the Big Ten matchup, with live coverage happening from 9 p.m. Et.
Fire Country, Shark Tank, and more
CBS has a packed night of drama. While it all starts off with Swat, we have to look at the new episode of Fire Country. There were some great parallels in the previous episode as we watched Manny deal with life in the prison fire program and Bode start his career as a fire cadet. Now it’s time for a daring elevator rescue while there’s a power outage caused by the high temperatures.

The actor has jokingly (hopefully) disregarded any question about the lore and seemed to be genuinely happy that Solo was killed in Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens.
While it was speculated that he hates it because it was a multi-billion dollar franchise, Ford’s recent comments about joining the MCU have led fans to believe that he just hates Star Wars and not big franchises in general. However, Ford’s hate for Star Wars may just be an exaggerated gag that has been running for ages.

Lori Loughlin is returning to Blue Bloods for the final season. CBS announced the details of Loughlin’s return on Monday, November 4, after her presence was teased in a promo for Season 14 Episode 14, which aired after the November 1 episode. Loughlin is reprising her role as Grace Edwards in the episode, set to air on Friday, November 8. The last time the Full House alum appeared on Blue Bloods was in 2016, four years before serving two months in prison for her conviction in a college admissions bribery case. Tony winner Lauren Patten will also return as Rachel Witten in the episode, Eddie’s (Vanessa Ray) former partner turned social worker. The last time fans saw Grace, it was the Season 7 premiere and she was already widowed. Grace begged Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) not to let her son join the police force, fearing what could happen to him after her husband was killed on the job.

This is it, Blue Bloods fanatics. We’re officially halfway through the final batch of episodes, and Blue Bloods Season 14 Episode 14 spoilers aren’t telling us much.
What we do know is as exciting as it is sad: Jack Reagan is back.
He will likely also return for the finale, but this time, he’s here to support his dad, as Danny is in major trouble.
(CBS/Screenshot) Blue Bloods Season 14 Episode 14 Spoilers Suggest Danny’s Actions Could Result In A Cop’s Death
It’s been rumored for a while that Blue Bloods’ finale would include a major death, but the clip of the family dinner depicts Danny in dress uniform and his sons wearing ties.
Usually, that kind of formal wear indicates a cop funeral coming up.

Blue Bloods is now airing its final episodes, marking the end of a series that has been a staple in countless homes for years.

We finally got some backstory on Oz Cobb on The Penguin Season 1 Episode 7, and it ain’t pretty.
Not that we could ever think it would be anything else, but “Top Hat” definitely sheds some brutal light on what made Oz, well… Oz.
When Colin Farrell said a while back that by the end of The Penguin, we’d end up hating Oz, he wasn’t kidding around.
(Photograph by Macall Polay/HBO)
There’s a difference between dislike and hate, and I’ve been on the “dislike” train with Oz for a while now. But after getting a glimpse into his childhood? Let’s just say he’s more twisted than I ever imagined.
This guy isn’t straddling some morally gray antihero line — he’s a full-on villain without an ounce of redemption in sight.
Whatever goes down in The Penguin season finale is only gonna seal his fate as Gotham’s dirtiest,...

Tracker got back to its roots.
That’s to say, they paired Colter and Reenie up during Tracker Season 2 Episode 4, and we got to see their effortless chemistry shine while they tried to track a missing woman.
This series is always at its best when it allows the team to get off the phone and into the same room.
(Darko Sikman/CBS)
Forget about Billie. Russell Shaw, who?
When you’re deprived of Colter and Reenie’s delectable chemistry, you forget how great it is. You forget how wonderfully they play off one another, especially when they mix a little business with personal.
Colter was called into a fancy Napa Valley winery where a fancy-schmancy corporate retreat was taking place, and I love scenarios where Colter is a bit out of his element.
Hob knobbing with the rich and famous will never be Colter’s thing, but it’s certainly Reenie’s.

Between his ongoing health issues and the ending of Blue Bloods, veteran actor Tom Selleck has been dealing with a lot. Recently, he made a rare return to the spotlight with his wife. So, what happened?
Tom Selleck Heartbroken Over Blue Bloods Ending
Blue Bloods is airing the final episodes of a show that was part of many households for years. For many viewers, Blue Bloods was more than just a show. It was a time to bond with family, eat dinner, and catch up with all of the comings and goings of the fictional Reagan family.
However, the cast members did not just play a family on the set. Many of the show’s stars grew close over their time filming the show, and no one took the show ending harder than Tom Selleck. He loved being on the set and filming, and many worry about him spiraling with the project now over.

Blue Bloods Season 14 Episode 13 Review: Some of The Best, Most Heartbreaking Stories Saved For Last
Blue Bloods Season 14 Episode 13 was an emotional roller coaster, with heartbreaking and infuriating stories that showcased the very best this series had to offer the audience.
I don’t know what I loved more: Frank urging the mayor and fire commissioner to act like public servants rather than spoiled children or the human toll Danny’s case took on him.
But I know one thing: I am grateful that we have these last few episodes, even though I still wish we could have more.
(CBS/Michael Parmelee) Mira Sorvino’s Veronica Radley Is A Strong Addition To The Cast
Radley is a younger, brasher version of Frank: a thorn in the Mayor’s side who stands up for her people even if it’s not politically expedient.
However, she wasn’t any less stubborn or childish than Mayor Chase was.
Egging his car is no more a valid form of...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Blue Bloods Season 14 Episode 13 “Bad to Worse.”] Henry (Len Cariou) surprises Erin (Bridget Moynahan) twice in the latest Blue Bloods episode. First, she’s shocked to hear that he’s going to testify for the defense about the NYPD’s evolution on its chokehold policy during her case against a former cop who used one on a neighbor over a fence dispute. When she confronts him, he just says the case is important needs expert testimony and he knows how to judge people. But then in court, on the stand, he speaks about how the defendant is one of those cops who’s the reason why chokeholds got banned. He didn’t clue Erin in because he didn’t want to ruin the surprise. Below, Cariou talks about the fun of that, his final days on set, and the show ending. Watching the scene in the courtroom, it seemed almost...

Was anyone else surprised that this episode coincided with Maggie’s arc after the previous one ended with Gia meeting Sloane?
When it was released, Twilight was a phenomenon. I was never gung-ho about it, but Twilight was essential to Maggie Wilken and Aaron Knodel’s relationship.
While the series touched on it briefly before, it explained why the movie was so important to the couple in Three Women Season 1 Episode 8. It’s disappointing that Maggie will never think of her favorite film the same way again.
(Courtesy of Starz) Forbidden Romance or Sexual Grooming?
Maggie’s storyline always has a different vibe than the other women. Theirs had drama and angst and hot sex, while Maggie’s focused on losing her innocence with her first meaningful sexual relationship.

Law & Order: Svu’s Carisi seems to be on a downward spiral.
Too many of the cases he’s working on remind him of how vulnerable his young daughters are, and worse, Rollins is out of town 95% of the time, so he’s handling it on his own.
Carisi’s family story is compelling, but can the police procedural pull it off while keeping Rollins off-screen?
(NBC/Michele K Short) Carisi’s Latest Storyline Explained
Things came to a head for Carisi on Law & Order: Svu Season 26 Episode 4 during a case involving the brutal rape of two young teenage girls, one of whom died as a result.
His downward spiral began when he saw a creep leering at nine-year-old Jessie.
Confronting the guy wasn’t necessarily wrong, but telling Jessie to wait on the street corner while he got in the man’s face was risky in so many ways.

I admit it. I never used to like Blue Bloods’ Erin Reagan.
I found her arrogant, rigid, and judgmental. I was irritated by her refusal to bend the rules and her belief that she was always right. From what I’ve seen on fan sites, a lot of people feel the same way.

After a brief hiatus, Rescue Hi-Surf Season 1 Episode 7 looks like a busy hour full of rescues (duh!) and Lots of personal drama.
So, it’s a typical hour for the newest Fox hit!
TV Fanatic scored a sneak peek of the newest hour, which sees Em race to the beach when a newly married couple gets swept away by the tide.
(Zach Dougan/Fox)
If you thought maybe the couple were taking a nice little dive into the water, bathing suits and all, you would be incorrect.
When Em arrives on the scene, she sees the couple wearing clothes, which is perfectly fine but a little peculiar since they’re pretty far out in the water.
She will definitely need assistance from Will and Laka to help sort this rescue out!
After Rescue: Hi-Surf Season 1 Episode 6, we’ll have to see if Sonny has returned to work after taking a mini-sabbatical amid Rocky’s death.

Blue Bloods fans are trying to hang on to any hope after CBS canceled the show this past spring. The police procedural has been on the air for 14 seasons, and despite pleas from both viewers and some of the series cast, the network has not shown any indication they are reversing their decision.

A new behind-the-scenes peek of the Blue Bloods finale hints at some major event coming! Could the series finale involve a huge ceremony?
Blue Bloods fans still hold out mild hope that CBS changes their minds and lets the hit series continue for at least another year. CBS had announced in the spring that the show would end with Season 14 but did bow to the idea of splitting it up with the last eight episodes to air this fall and a December finale.
Those last episodes have pushed a few plotlines, such as how Eddie and Jamie are now considering starting a family and Frank continues to have issues with Mayor Chase. It doesn’t sound like the producers are planning a huge, stunning finale, yet a recent post by Donnie Wahlberg has fans guessing what it could involve.

Can you believe we’re into November already? Where has 2024 gone? Well, the good news is that Friday, Nov. 1 brings us new episodes of top shows.
With Fox airing the World Series, it had to keep tonight open for Game 6 if needed. The rest of the networks have a normal schedule, so let’s focus on them.
Swat, Joan, and more
We start a night of drama on CBS with Swat. Hondo and the team are called into a prison hostage situation that goes from bad to worse. When there is an explosion in the prison, a bunch of inmates are let free while 20-Squad is trapped with them. Can they find their way out? Can they help the prison guard in trouble?
Meanwhile, Joan continues on The CW. Joan faces a lengthy prison sentence or the wrath of the Ira, and she doesn’t really want to face either.

Tom Brady, the widely-renowned former professional football quarterback who rocked in the NFL for 23 seasons, is famous for gaining the spotlight not only for his professional life but for his personal life as well. Turns out, the handsome ex-National Football League star’s past relationships have been gaining quite a bit of light as of late.
Though the star hasn’t been in all that many confirmed relationships between the time he was professionally active – which notably started with his 199th drafting in the 2000 NFL draft – the two relationships he has been officially confirmed of being in have been with two supermodels. The first one was with Bridget Moynahan and the second was with Gisele Bündchen.
