How many episodes are left in Blue Bloods’ final season? That’s the question on Blue Bloods fans’ minds as the season barrels along.

Last year, ahead of Blue Bloods Season 14, news broke the series was coming to an end.

Instead of airing the final season all at once, Blue Bloods was divided up into two parts.

One reason for this was the writers’ and SAG/AFTRA strikes that hit Hollywood in 2023.

However, another reason was to give Blue Bloods fans more time to say goodbye to the Reagan family.

Now that the final episodes are airing on CBS, it’s time to see how many episodes remain in the series.

How many episodes are left in Blue Bloods’ final season?

When Blue Bloods’ final season was broken up into two parts, the breakdown was 10 episodes airing last spring and eight to air this fall, giving the final season an 18-episode count.

This Thursday evening at Pmc’s brand-new New York video studio, Bridget Moynahan was invited into the TVLine Spotlight, for an in-depth conversation about getting her start on Sex and the City and in the film Coyote Ugly, ABC’s gone-too-soon Six Degrees and, of course, CBS’ Blue Bloods, which will wrap its 14-season, nearly 300-episode run in December.

With just five episodes left to air (including tonight’s), the prospect of Blue Bloods fading to black — more than four months after filming wrapped — still has the famly drama’s cast getting emotional, Moynahan shared.

Lori Loughlin is returning to Blue Bloods for the final season. CBS announced the details of Loughlin’s return on Monday, November 4, after her presence was teased in a promo for Season 14 Episode 14, which aired after the November 1 episode. Loughlin is reprising her role as Grace Edwards in the episode, set to air on Friday, November 8. The last time the Full House alum appeared on Blue Bloods was in 2016, four years before serving two months in prison for her conviction in a college admissions bribery case. When you’re deprived of Colter and Reenie’s delectable chemistry, you forget how great it is. You forget how wonderfully they play off one another, especially when they mix a little business with personal.

Colter was called into a fancy Napa Valley winery where a fancy-schmancy corporate retreat was taking place, and I love scenarios where Colter is a bit out of his element.

Hob knobbing with the rich and famous will never be Colter’s thing, but it’s certainly Reenie’s.

Between his ongoing health issues and the ending of Blue Bloods, veteran actor Tom Selleck has been dealing with a lot. Recently, he made a rare return to the spotlight with his wife. So, what happened?

Blue Bloods is airing the final episodes of a show that was part of many households for years. For many viewers, Blue Bloods was more than just a show. It was a time to bond with family, eat dinner, and catch up with all of the comings and goings of the fictional Reagan family.

However, the cast members did not just play a family on the set. Many of the show’s stars grew close over their time filming the show, and no one took the show ending harder than Tom Selleck. He loved being on the set and filming, and many worry about him spiraling with the project now over.

Blue Bloods Season 14 Episode 13 was an emotional roller coaster, with heartbreaking and infuriating stories that showcased the very best this series had to offer the audience.

I don’t know what I loved more: Frank urging the mayor and fire commissioner to act like public servants rather than spoiled children or the human toll Danny’s case took on him.

But I know one thing: I am grateful that we have these last few episodes, even though I still wish we could have more.

I admit it. I never used to like Blue Bloods’ Erin Reagan.

I found her arrogant, rigid, and judgmental. I was irritated by her refusal to bend the rules and her belief that she was always right. From what I’ve seen on fan sites, a lot of people feel the same way.

And yet, Frank is all of those things and is widely admired for his integrity and willingness to do what he thinks is right, optics be damned. Talk about a double standard!

Blue Bloods fans are trying to hang on to any hope after CBS canceled the show this past spring. The police procedural has been on the air for 14 seasons, and despite pleas from both viewers and some of the series cast, the network has not shown any indication they are reversing their decision.

Blue Bloods fans still hold out mild hope that CBS changes their minds and lets the hit series continue for at least another year. CBS had announced in the spring that the show would end with Season 14 but did bow to the idea of splitting it up with the last eight episodes to air this fall and a December finale.
