Really? Was this a comedy or drama? Painful to watch, I wonder what made Nawazuddin act in this film. The plot was pointless and unbelievable. Give it a miss for sure. What kind of person would accept his wife having someone else's baby. Also what was the sister doing there? Did she not have school to go to?

Putting Nawazuddin in drag was just below the belt and in bad taste. I watched the film hoping something would happen, all it shows how wicked the film makers are in Bollywood. Nothing new there, even Nawazuddins acting could not save this wreck. Feel sorry for the newcomer actress, she did try, but alas.

Tiku Weds Sheru (2023) : Movie Review -

Tikh Weds Sheru marks the collaboration between Kangana Ranaut and Sai Kabir after their disastrous outing "Revolver Rani". While some might have thought that this collaboration would bring something better this time, the final output will make you slap yourself for even having that thought. Tiku Weds Sheru is anything but cinema. Kangana might have thought of the title from her superhit series "Tanu Weds Manu" and "Tanu Weds Manu Returns", which have also been her last hit projects, to create a certain awareness amongst the viewers. However, Tiku Weds Sheru ends up being a nightmare for the "So Weds So" title unit. Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur's romantic comedy is an embarrassment for the rom-com genre and for anything called a decent cinema.

Sheru (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) is a struggling junior artist with the attitude of Shah Rukh Khan, who is also a part-time pimp. He gets a marriage proposal from Bhopal, and he is mesmerised by seeing a picture of a girl named Tiku (Avneet Kaur). Tiku says no to marriage in their first meeting but later says Yes since she wants to fly away from her hellhouse while her boyfriend awaits her in Mumbai. Tiku uses Sheru so that she can go to Mumbai, but soon after reaching there, she realises that she is pregnant with her boyfriend, who happens to be married already. Heartbroken Tiku attempts suicide but survives, and then Sheru also abandons her. It's a short-term fight, though, as Sheru has no problems with somebody else's child and is ready to accept Tiku as his wife for a lifetime. Tiku and Sheru fall in love, but their happy life is destroyed soon after the child's birth as Sheru gets what was due, and then Tiku finds life hard. From callgirl to casting couch, she goes through inappropriate situations as she realises how much Sheru loves her.

While reading the above paragraph, you might have fallen asleep, I assume. If not, then I am sure this unbearable screenplay will force you to pass out on your seat or sofa. The only medicine that can save you from trauma is "The End". Nawaz kept saying lies and lauding them as "facts" - believe me, you need that kind of attitude and courage in your life to go through this torturous rom-com. It's a cheap, trashy, B-grade, and unimaginably shoddy script that should have been burned and had a cake-cutting celebration instead of a wrap-up party. How can someone approve such a baleful watch? Every single character is fake and childish. It's rubbish that they have to carry their insufferable bearings for almost 110 minutes. The screenplay is shot dead in the first 15 minutes, and then its body is brought to the paper after dissection in post mortem. What were those shuddh Hindi abuses for? Tiku keeps telling me that she belongs to 'Sharif Khandaan,' but tell me, which decent family girl uses shuddh Hindi gaalis and marries a man whom she doesn't love, and that too after having a boyfriend and being pregnant? Her character was not even 1% sharif, and so was Nawaz, who carried that Ambani-style attitude throughout the film.

I would have loved to skip the talk on performances, as I didn't find anything called 'acting'. Rather, I saw Nawazuddin Siddiqui in one of his worst-acted roles ever. Imagine that Nawazuddin Siddiqui got such an embarrassing role and had to perform it in front of the camera. Never in my life would I have imagined that one of the finest actors of his time would be turned into a waste like this. On the other side, Avneet Kaur looks gorgeous and sexy, but there is nothing called acting there. Those abuses sounded so ghastly from her mouth, and her face indicated nothing but cuteness. She is made a call girl, a struggling actress, an unsuccessful wife, and an immature girlfriend, and she struggles in all varieties. Nawaz is even made a panzy-such a disgrace. That homosexual angle had me on my nerves. The entire supporting cast is a huge disaster. Mukesh Bhatt, Zakir Hussain, Vipin Sharma, Rahoul, Suresh Vishwakarma, Khushi Bhardwaj, and Ghanshyam Garg-what were you guys doing?

Coming to music, Tiku Weds Sheru has songs that don't harm your ears but add more boredom to the visual show. The lyrics are meaningless because the scenes that are going on don't suit them. Tiku Weds Sheru is a badly shot film. The cinematography is on the level of auditions for reality singing/dancing shows. The background score is okay, while the editing is terrible. The biggest harm to Tiku Weds Sheru is done by Sai Kabir's horrible direction. This is not a comedy, man; this is a joke. This is not romance, buddy; this is a cheap skin show. Once in a while you get a film that goes wrong on every front, from acting, writing, editing, dialogues, production value, and direction, and Tiku Weds Sheru is that decent-budget film of the season. As a whole, it's yet another disaster for Kangana Ranaut, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Prime Video. Let's rename it "Crap Weds Clod".

Movie has nothing as promised neither romantic nor comedy, totally time waste. Directions less thought, unexpectedly various things happened from start to end.

It seems someone want to make a film on real story, but it seems he/she make some part realistic but other part he/ she is confused to show real issues.

There is no connection in behavioral character of castes and their role. Girl seems some time ideal some time.realistic some time have good character some time character less.

Everyone in film have a flimsy character, whether he is going is not known by him.

Most drastic is ending , they became enemies, hero enters and everything becomes very normal.

Wasting career of a young girl.

This movie is a headache for viewers. Now everyone can understand why irrfan did not make this movie with kangana. The story is worse than 1 minute tiktok video. Nawaz signed this movie just for sensual scenes and money. The sensual scenes of avneet Kaur and nawazuddin siddique were really uncomfortable and awkward as avneet looks underage. The movie contains lot of cuss words and sensual scenes and the production team is referring this movie as family entertainer. I don't know any family which will sit together and watch a c grade movie like this. Kangana has once again proved that she has zero knowledge of film-making. If this movie comes to box office it will major disaster as dhakad. I will watch deshdrohi instead of this movie.

First thing first, the best part about the film is that you can start using the remote to forward it after the first 30 minutes because it's on OTT. Imagine being stuck in a theatre watching this utter garbage of a movie!

Sadly that is the ONLY good thing about this movie. It's bad at every level imaginable from start to finish. The characters don't have any emotional connect from start to end, the acting is bad at best and totally on acid the other times.

I won't get into any spoilers but let it be told that beginning, middle and end are all equally WTF. Nawazuddin must have had his own reasons for taking this project on but how did this project get a green light will be an eternal mystery. The young girl opposite Nawaz is probably the innocent victim here, everyone else has committed a crime.

The movie had no point or purpose. It was a chaotic and nonsensical collection of scenes and dialogues that had nothing to do with each other. The movie lacked any plot structure, character development or thematic relevance. It was tedious, dull and irritating to watch. The movie did not offer me any entertainment, education or inspiration. It only made me feel angry, annoyed and cheated. I would strongly warn anyone who is looking for a decent movie to avoid this one at all costs. It is not worth a single minute or penny of your time or money. Totally Disaster. I don't understand how a brilliant actor Nawazuddin has signed this movie.

Disaster could have been better

This is a movie where Nawazuddin hams throughout the movie and tries to be a character where the character itself is half baked. Don't understand why an actor like Nawaz is doing such movies and destroying his hard built reputation.

Direction is awful and you don't feel any emotion between the main leads. The story just roams around one plot to another and there is no coherence in scenes, guess director just wanted to waste Nawaz and show him kissing desperately a girl with a age gap of 28 yrs.

Don't know why Kangana produced this movie I guess she doesn't follow what she preach 2nd disaster after her own movie.

Only a handful of good movie are.direct to OTT and rest of garbage like this is being dumped on as well in name of entertainment.

Amazon needs to be selective in terms of OTT movies.

This one is one hell of a garbage, stay off.

Could not make the head or tail of the movie. Complete waster of money, There was no story and no plot. They tried to encash the name of nawazuddin but the movie should be listed as the worst movie done by him.

The characters are caricatures not real people you would find in the real world. Plot jumps from one dead end to another dead end.

Characters come and go as they please there is no continuity in the story.

The story is loosely based on the life story of the producer of the movie. How the producer went through the bollywood life is shown in the movie.

Watch this movie if you need a migraine headache.

This movie is so cringe that i had to stop watching after 1 hour , what a waste of time , why is kangna creating so much fake hype about the movie 😡. Watch it if you want to waste your time on a super bad movie . Nawaz deserves better . Bad start for avneet . Kangana failed miserably. What's Good: The opening sequence and first 10 minutes must be why Irrfan Khan must have said yes to this movie.

What's Bad: The rest is why we should be happy he never made it. A product so confused that it doesn't even know its position to even think of using a hook. Stop making Nawaz dance please.

Loo Break: Take plenty because you deserve them.

Watch or Not?: It's on OTT; try your luck, test your taste buds but don't even expect the minimum here.

Movie Mafia out to run the movie down

I enjoyed the movie. The storyline is decent, a black comedy and a brave attempt to show Bollywood's underbelly.

Nawazuddin shines as always, is that ever a surprise. What is a surprise though, is the newcomer Avneet Kaur, who matches Nawazuddin in every frame. What is obvious is that it is hard to keep talented people down. Kudos to Kangana Ranaut for supporting good movies.

It is disappointing to see the so called critics who are bad mouthing the movie for perhaps their ulterior motives. They are pushing the Bollywood mafia's agenda.

Movies with a good story, upcoming actors & directors working with small budgets need the public's support.

The movie's biggest drawback was the age gap between the actors which was indeed not needed , the story could have moved on without even the age gap .

I was highly disappointed after seeing the movie as I expected a lot from it . The film is directed by Kangana and the only thing good is that there are nepo artists .

The movie could have improved if it didn't went on in way that a young girl was forced to marry a old person , and somehow she fell in love with her . I don't know when will Bollywood change their old mindset and make new content

Overall it was a not so good experience watching it but by giving a chance to new actor ,like Avneet Kaur was a good choice and a major setback.

Did not expect Nawaz to sign up for this disaster

Despite of the negative criticism on social media, I was eager to watch this movie at least once because I was convinced by the trailer of the movie. Also, presence of Nawaz was a hope that the movie would be an interesting one.

It is the sheer lack of self-respect the characters of this movie portray, I felt tortured in whatever scenes of the movie I jumped to because I could not tolerate any one scene. Acting seemed decent, thanks to the presence of so many seasoned actors, but the scenes were badly scripted in my opinion. In this age of cinema choices, I would not recommend anyone to waste their time on it.

Who would have thought that a instagrammer would be featured with one the best actors. Avneet Kaur does try I don't mind her below average acting skills the problem lies with the story, screenplay and absolutely rubbish character arcs. Firstly the casting itself is bad there seems absolutely no chemistry between two it seems more like a bad Instagram reel. The whole story is unrealistic. And if the film was not bad enough to watch the ending is such an unbelievable mess that it has to be seen to believed . But wait I just saw the end it says produced by kangana ranaut ok now I understand why the film looks so mad maybe she wanted to vent her anger out.

Another Bollywood movie with same old typical formula of exposing the film industry and how the artist fulfill their needs.

First of all those who have trouble sleeping or don't get sleep please watch this film. Because when you'll watch it you'll definitely fell asleep in the half of the movie itself. Screenplay is very boring. I mean we are in 2023 and you are giving us this type of content. Didn't expect from Kangana Ranaut productions for giving us this type of film. We have seen dozen of movies & series in this concept and you are bringing back same old content that we have already watched it a million times with no uniqueness feels very disappointed.

Director can easily change some of the storyline and make the film interesting but no you have to show same old concept of 90s that how mumbai works in film line where people don't get recognition for work or if you want to become a star then you have to go to the illegal wat otherwise there is no option. Please stop making this type of films rather than try to make something new & unique which audience appreciate about.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is on another track I don't know what happens to him flop after flop and the selection of script is very bad. Nawaz should halt and take a break and should choose the script wisely. Talking about the debutant Avneet Kaur as her 1st film she did a good job but not worth it as the script is so bad. This is not even a one time watch. Waste of 2 hr....

same usual Bollywood film

I watched this flick for the male actor but the real protagonist was the female lead and the girl's characterisation was really done well, the film takes us through her lens for the major portions of the film describing the life of a teenage girl betrayed by her boyfriend in her home town and marrying another guy just to get out of her home where she's jailed and later entering the filthy jobs, the struggle of the innocent girl was showcased well to the core so much that it felt as if like this is what really happens in real life too.

But on the side, the film looks almost the same as the other, many previous films from the same industry.

The film is slow & sluggish with poor drama & screenplay but holds well because the 2 lead characters played really well by them.

Bad acting, bad script and full of swearing for no reason. Shameful.

As title says, this movie is very poor. Acting is so stupid, you can tell they are faking. Over acting.

Too many cuss words for no reason. They don't even fit the scene. Camera starts recording when the spot boy says action and you can tell actors are trying to fake out a scene.

This is not a family movie. Very awkward. Shame... Failure. Wasn't expecting this. It was one of the worst decisions.

Music was okay. And one more point for cinematography. Rest was aLl useless and plain boring. Should be rated c grade movie and the board who rated this family movie is corrupt and must be fired asap.

Third class movie

No story No direction Kangana copied the name from her movie Tanu weds Manu in her production but copying name doesn't guarantee a hit film. Only good thing is Nawaz acting and his typical dialog delivering style . He never makes you bore . However, he is looking quite old. Hair patch is worn by him to look young but upon seeing face expression.

I also don't understand how come Nawazuddin himself being such a natural experienced and prominent actor didn't make sure about the scenes storylines and the flaws the way the movie was going with will not be to the mark since such movies were already made earlier (Rab de bana de jodi..for instance)... And the ending with sudden fight and all was really unacceptable and execution was merely not upto the level at all.

It's not even a one time movie watch.... To ensure their screen time on spot and highlighted (leading actors) I don't understand why suddenly side role person's time limit get diminished and vanishes without any proper link or reasons.

The lead character Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur are good in their characters. There is no doubt that Nawazudin is a great actor but here in this movie something was missing that made the film an unpleasant movie. May be the editing has some problem or may be there were more characters which created a mess. Nawazuddin and Avneet were shown as lovey dovey couple who were madly in love with each other but something went wrong that the movie couldn't appeal the mass audience. Its not a bad movie,watch it if you believe in love or love "love stories."Avneet though an established actor as an child actress,here too manages to impress the audience as an film lead actress. Overall it's an average movie .You can go for one time watch which is streaming on amazon Prime.

I Wish I Could Give It A Zero Star For This Cringe-Fest !!!

Sai Kabir's directorial, Tiku weds Sheru is anything but a family entertainer. For it to be called a romantic drama with dark satire... there's zero romance or clever humour, and it is only melodrama that tortures you for nearly two hours. Merely twenty minutes into the film, and it starts to get on your nerves. It pains me to see an actor of Nawazuddin Siddiqui's calibre doing a film this crass and lame. As Sheru, he's an unfunny man expected to do funny things. Though he's sincere and diligent in whatever he does, as audience, you pity seeing him in such parts.

And don't even get me started on Avneet Kaur. There's nothing about her that works. Neither her jarring screen presence nor her dialogue delivery that's more like lines said during rehearsal. Her overacting is tough to bear at times. She is raw and real but never really convinces you with her performance. Together, as a couple on screen, both look extremely odd and awkward. A scene where Sheru and Tiku go out for dinner for the first time, we see Tiku dressed as a cabaret dancer in a red flashy outfit. They eat, crack jokes, and go to take a stroll at a beach and end up kissing. With no beauty, no chemistry and no sparks whatsoever, the whole sequence, which could have been the high point of their relationships, looks half-hearted.

The story of Tiku Weds Sheru holds no novelty factor and appears to be a mixture of pieces picked from several scripts. Shiraz Khan Afghani aka Sheru (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) is a junior artist and film financier in Mumbai, who gets married to Bhopal girl Tasleem aka Tiku (Avneet Kaur), an aspiring actor with dreams of becoming a superstar. While she agrees to marry Sheru as that's the only way she can get to Mumbai and reunite with her boyfriend Binni (Rahoul), she is least prepared for the twist that's going to turn her life upside down. On the other hand, when Sheru learns that he was tricked into trap, how he comes to term with it and how their love story begins is an altogether different story that unfolds.

But Tiku Weds Sheru is cringe to its core. You feel no emotions even when a character is laughing loud or crying inconsolably. It all looks so superficial and never strikes a chord or hits you hard. Even the most serious scenes or intense exchange of dialogues fail to keep you invested. There are portions when we see a Tiku's brother beating her with a belt while her parents and sister stand outside, helpless. This scene should have evoked so much anger, but it's the least impactful. Another scene when she is leaving her house after marriage, her uncle uses cuss words for her, but instead of making you think and question this behaviour in such families, it annoys you for the way it has been shot.

Forget the scenes, the dialogues in the film are even more blah, and unfortunately, Nawaz gets to mouth most of them. Nawaz tells a man on set who tells him to not overact: 'Main jo bhi karta hoon shiddat ke sath karta hoon and it's a fact'. Nawaz fantasising looking at a picture of a girl: 'Kitni delicious ho tum, kitna jolly hoon main, yeh galat hai ki hum dono marr jayenge'. Nawaz talking to his cat Elizabeth, 'You are irritating me like a fly, not butterfly, like a house fly.' A broken Nawaz to himself: 'Sheru hai tu, sher ki tarah dahaad'.

Watch it if you seriously don't have anything better to do this weekend, or if you like to watch cringe content, only to be able to appreciate better stuff. Tiku Weds Sheru is now streaming on Prime Video.

One of the worst movies of the recent times It's so so bad that you'll start doubting the film choice of nawazuddin, his worst performance ever, pathetic acting, everything was so so bad was in this movie.

The only good thing about this movie was Avneet Kaur, she tried very hard but was failed by pathetic story, direction and everything related with the movie.

Such big names making such pathetic movie.

Producers think they can easily sell even very bad movies to OTTs in the name of big stars and people are fool enough to watch it.

Please do not watch it.

It will be waste of your time, your internet data.

Do not watch it even for free.

The movie is made in a very low class way

Just saw the movie because of the producer Kangana thought she will come up with something new with Nawaz but it was disaster and unbelievable..I think the director started the movie then got lost as where to take further so the movie was wandering here and there without any idea

Very low quality content in today's time where ott is delivering new contents ..low class costumes ,low grade dialogues ,poor aesthetics, pathetic performances ,boring songs this all was delivered

We expect a lot from Kangana and Nawaz they have given us top quality entertainment.
