Celebrities are not happy with President Donald Trump's anti-Muslim immigration ban.
On Friday, Trump signed an executive order that bans more than 130 million people from the United States and denies entry to all refugees. Shortly after, a number of A-list celebrities took to Twitter to express their opinions on the new controversial policy.

Sophia Bush was one of the first to take action, retweeting a post from the Tribeca Film Festival's official Twitter account, which read, "Oscar nominee Asghar Farhadi has been banned from entry into the U.S. to attend the ceremony in Feb. This is heartbreaking and unacceptable."
"Unacceptable," Bush added. "Now more than ever, storytelling is essential. #Resist."

Just like every year, Emmy gives and Emmy takes away when it comes to surprises. In addition to the actors and shows who made unexpected appearances (see our list of the most shocking nominations here), there were many contenders left out who were expected to be in the running. -Break- 2015 Emmy Awards: Complete list of nominations Bazing-oh-no! This was supposed to be the year for Jim Parsons ("The Big Bang Theory") to potentially win his fifth Emmy Award, tying only three people who won five times for the same role: Edward Asner ("The Mary Tyler Moore Show" & "Lou Grant"), Candice Bergen ("Murphy Brown") and Don Knotts ("The Andy Griffith Show"). Alas, poor Parsons was kicked out of the Comedy Lead Actor category despite the voters nominating seven men here instead of the standard six. The show was also snubbed for Best Comedy Series. The day the music died Turns out "Empire&quo.

February 3, 1959 is long regarded as “The Day The Music Died” (Google it, kids). And whilst that has absolutely nothing to do with professional wrestling, June 9, 2014 can have a pretty similar phrase attached to it in WWE circles.
Throughout the first part of 2014, Daniel Bryan’s Yes Movement swept through the WWE like “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s beer truck swept across the faces of Vince and Shane McMahon back in 1999. In fact, mention of Austin is apt, as the popularity Bryan received during the hazy days of the Yes Movement was akin to that Austin picked up during the Attitude Era.
For many wrestling fans of a certain age, shades of Austin were brought back to life, as one man rallied against The Authority against extreme circumstances, with all the cards stacked against him.
Yet on the June 9 edition of Raw, Bryan was unceremoniously stripped of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Linda Hunter and Aj Johnston of Bristow Films are re-teaming with Screen Australia for their second picture, entitled Jackhammer and described as a dark and twisted psychological thriller. The film stars Starlet’s Dree Hemingway, The Day The Music Died’s Guy Kent and Friday Night Lights’ Dora Madison Burge.
Australian fashion photographer and indie filmmaker Linda Hunter is set to shoot her second feature Jackhammer in May 2013 in London, UK; Screen Australia is co-producing with Hunter’s NY-based Bristow Films. Charles Merson (‘Petunia’, ‘Mangus!’) will also produce. This project marks Screen’s second UK-set production. Hunter is directing from a script she penned.
Set against the backdrop of London’s music scene in the early 90′s, the story follows an unknown alt-rock band who, savaged by their failure and personal tribulations, are on the verge of imploding just when their last album is discovered as a triumph. The film...

Now you can play more of one of the best games release so far in 2013.
Bloody Palace mode, the post-campaign arena Dlc is available now across all platforms for the Ninja Theory reboot of "Devil May Cry," Capcom announced this morning. The mode is available once you've finished the "DmC" campaign on any difficulty, throwing another 100 levels of enemies and five bosses at you to further test your dodge and and attack skills.
They've also announced that the "Vergil's Downfall" Dlc, revealed back in November, will be coming to the 360, PS3, and PC on March 5 for 720 Ms Points/$8.99, arriving a little under six weeks after the game's release.
The expansion offers up a separate campaign for Dante's twin brother, Vergil, promising an "untold story," new enemies, new locations, and new weapons in "Vergil's Downfall."

Not too much has changed from Charles' original review but if you're still looking for a way to prove your video game mastery via video, the HD PVR 2 Ge is a solid choice for cost-conscience customers. With minimal installation time, you'll soon have dozens of neat video packages to show off on YouTube or even burned to disc.
The whole package comes with everything you need- the PVR box, Hdmi and component cables, and editing software. Set up isn't too tricky with clear visual guides for even the thickest of heads, as most of the work comes from figuring out which cord goes where and then installing the latest capturing software patches to your PC. The one downside is that there isn't first party software for you Mac users out there. However, if you go to Hauppauge's site there's a list of 3rd party solutions at a reasonable cost. Fortunately,...

Publisher EA is trotting the sequel out to the big game sellers, at least according to a tweet from the CEO of Gamestop.
Of the preview, Gamestop CEO Paul Raines enthused "Got to see Battlefield 4 today and all I can say is Wow! Thanks @EA for the sneak peek. Can’t wait for you all to see it."
While there's nothing especially, you know, special about behind-closed-doors previews for retailers, it's mighty auspicious that the preview happened only a day before Sony's big New York thing tonight. Is it possible the wider public might be seeing what developer Dice has has been cooking up for the sequel to the massive Fps? Gamespot points out that near the beginning of the year, EA promised to begin showing off "Battlefield 4" within the quarter.
"Battlefield 3" has had such a tremendous life post-launch in terms of its robust multiplayer, frequent updates, and huge community...

In the late 1970s and 1980s, composer Giorgio Moroder was often accused of trying to replace the orchestral movie soundtrack with high-energy, synthesizer-heavy disco pop laid on with a trowel in movies like Thank God It’s Friday (1978), Flashdance (1983), Scarface (1983), and Top Gun (1986). I remember a magazine story on Moroder which quoted one of his many critics as saying, “The day the music died, Giorgio Moroder was brought in for questioning.”
I think some people had the same opinion about movies and Tony Scott. Full disclosure: I’m one of them. But it would be greatly unfair to Scott, who apparently committed suicide Sunday after being diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer, not to admit that, for good or for ill, his 1980s feature work had an enormous impact on commercial filmmaking.

With the upcoming release of The Day The Music Died in the Us, Ireland, UK, and elsewhere in 2012, Film Shelf Entertainment wanted to propose a retrospective of the iconic rockers of modern‐day cinema that audiences worldwide have come to know and love based off the music icons we’ve all followed over the decades. We've shortlisted a group of recent characters and their respective films from Aaron Johnson as a young John Lennon in Nowhere Boy to Michael Pitt as a Kurt Cobain‐inspired rocker in Last Days and up to Buddy Holly‐inspired The Day The Music Died; what do these rockers and their actor counterparts have in common to represent an icon (or an icon‐in‐the‐making)? Guitar playing? Check. Killer hair? Check. Their ability to croon their way out of anything? Double check. Below you'll find a compilation of some of the most memorable rockers...

At the Minneapolis, Minn., stop on their record-shattering "360 Tour," U2 dedicated “Stuck In A Moment You Can’t Get Out Of” to the late Amy Winehouse, who passed away Saturday at the age of 27. "We wrote this next song for Michael Hutchence, but you will understand tonight if we play it for Amy Winehouse,” Bono said before playing the song.
“Stuck In A Moment” was written for Hutchence, the lead singer of Inxs who committed suicide in 1997. The singer was a close friend of the members of U2.
The gesture is the latest of many that have flooded in since Winehouse’s passing. On Saturday night, just hours after the news broke, M.I.A. released the demo “27” on her Soundcloud in the “Back to Black” singer’s honor. “I recorded this song B4 vickileekx and never put it out,” M.I.A. said on Twitter. “It's a unfinished demo.
