Black Light Attack! (#4.10)

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is all about women issues. Jenna is made to read the role of a mother and starts fighting her real age. Tracy adds Sue to the entourage and is over protective about her because of the double standard daughters face. And Liz hooks up with Danny, but Jack is jealous.

I really liked the episode. But some parts irritated me. Like the whole thing about Maryl Streep vs. Madonna. Uhm, Madonna doesn't pretend to be young, she just does what she enjoys. Women should not be forced into being boring because of their age and stop having fun. And there is nothing endearing about fathers treating their daughters different than sons, girls are not more stupid.

But I still like the episode, because they manage to keep it funny. Loved Lutz's bra, Jenna's dying scene and how Jack won Danny. And Danny by the way is a cutie!

Sue's character growth

Warning: Spoilers
It's great to see Sue (Sue Galloway) growing in her role as part of Tracy's entourage for what it was worth. Danny and Liz are discrete lovers, much to Jack's chagrin and jealousy.

It's easy to forget that 30 Rock and Aaron Sorkin's Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip debuted on NBC at the same time. Conventional wisdom was that Sorkin's powerhouse series be the one that would survive the first season, with 30 Rock being a one season wonder. But history has proved otherwise.
