Just stay in Seatlle

There was enough going on at home, no need to have the boring storyline between it.

Let Amelia stay there and just let her have a videocall once in a while.

Bottle Up and Explode

Warning: Spoilers
Please separate G. A and Station 19 and stop the endless crossovers because many people don't watch the spin-off. Dedicating whole episodes for something many watchers won't understand is nonsense.

As a person who doesn't know anything about Station 19, here's my review

The hospital faces a huge explosion but almost no traumas show up, still some firemen from the spin-off series show up and start crying and dying from grieve. Grey's has lost it's aesthetic and has moved far away from the plot this season. (-5p)

It keeps becoming more and more irrelevant and boring. The episodes have become a background noice to me while while I'm eating lunch.

However, Bailey stole the show (once again) and made this episode way better than it would be without the ending scenes. Also, Megan's scenes were really good despite their potential, it wasn't as perfect as it should. (+2)

So 5p - 2p = 3 which gives us a 7/10.

Perfect!
brandonnaatz13 November 2021
This was no joke one of the best episodes of the entire series. SO EMOTIONAL AND RAW. This is what made grey's in the early seasons and I wasn't expecting this season to be as perfect as it has been! Anyone that doesn't rate this a 10 is heartless. If anyone has been away from the show for sometime; this is the episode to watch!

22 Veterans A Day
HelloBlockbuster18 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
"...In two breaths and two minutes..."-Owen, while in the throes of a flashback and the emotions/feelings associated with military trauma.

In believe this is a nod to the 22 veterans per day who commit suicide.

The writers of this episode and the Station 19 crossover deserve an award. Read my Station 19 review of episode titled "Things We Lost in the Fire" for further, in depth, info on this crossover series.

I dont understand the 10/10 reviews.

Warning: Spoilers
Perhaps it's because I dont watch Station 19 that I dont understand why people are saying this was such a great episode, but once again I found myself not caring about what was going on.

Lets start with the good.... Owens reaction to the explosion was great, truly realistic and I like how they are showing that you dont just recover from PTSD. For too long Owen seems to have just got over it and the story shows that people can still be triggered years later. Kevin McKidd played it perfectly.

Now for the not good. Number 1 Megan and her son. Megan was brought in for a few episodes years ago as a plot device for other main characters. She has barely been seen again since, but now Im supposed to be emotionally involved in her sons illness, couldnt care less. And the surgery was portrayed so boringly by 2 of the dullest characters in the show that I had no interest in what was going on. I think there was a dramatic second when it looked like things might go wrong, but guess what? Kid I dont care about is going to be fine.

And finally, the main issue with this episode. There was a pipe explosion, so big they felt it in the hospital, yet there was no drama. In past seasons we've had many tragic events...the ferry crash, the train derailment, the gas explosion in the mall, and what did these all have in common? Patients. The hospital was overflowing with injured members of the public and their loved ones as the doctors worked flat out to save people. In this episode, for unknown reasons a couple of first responders are brought in whilst all other casualties are taken to Seatle Pres. Where was the drama, the tricky surgeries, the tragic deaths? Gone, so that the storyline of some Firefighters from a different show could be advanced.

Greys is no longer a medical drama..its a soap opera set in a hospital. No-one wants that. I think its time to put this show out of its misery.

I chose not to critique the Minnieapolis storyline, because it's just silly now.
