Touching stuff!

The Simpsons have gone back to their roots for the 21st season. It's great to see characters being developed again as more than just comedy roles, and people can now connect and feel for the characters (not just the primary cast).

"Once Upon a Time in Springfield" brings depth to Krusty the Clown, as he becomes more than just a self loathing, depressed children's entertainer, and the character opposite him in this episode "Princess Penelope" is a likable addition to the secondary characters.

While this particular episode didn't have much in terms of comedy, it was still one of the most memorable episodes of the season.

This episode made me respect Anne Hathaway. Some amazing voiceover work and a deserved Emmy win. The storyline is mostly meh, but the background is pretty enough to enjoy in most any state haha. Lovely though. Truly enjoyable auditory experience.

Warning: Spoilers
This was a brilliant episode of the Simpsons and it was a brilliant way to celebrate 450 episodes,it starts off with the family gathering together to watch the Krusty show then when it ends Krusty makes the audience give him all their Krusty merchandise and then the show runners tell Krusty that he isn't being very lively anymore so they decide to get him another sidekick for the show, they then come up with a princess called Princess Penelope (voiced by Anne Hattaway)but then when a lot off girls that to be entertained by the show they decide to start giving Penelope more parts in the show than Krusty,Krusty then finds out that Penelope was always a huge fan of him when she was young and the two fall in love with each other and they decide to get married but Bart and Milhouse weren't happy about it and decide to crash the wedding.

This is definitely my favorite episode of season 21.

It was nice to see the characters being developed again as more than just comedy roles.

It was cool to see that the episode brings a little more depth to Krusty, where he has a certain evolution here, and the character Princess Penelope is very beautiful. (I confess I had a crush on her). I wanted to see more of her.

Their relationship is very cute, and Anne Hathaway's refreshing voice makes things a thousand times better.

The episode isn't perfect, it's far from being in the top 10 best episodes of all time, but it's still a good episode.

Anyway, I recommend it.
