Tom chases Hester through flame and smoke while Salzhaken is being demolished by London, falls down the chute and is partially buried in mud, which prevents him from being seen by Valentine's airship, trudged thorough mud for a day and night, ends up in a crude cell on the Scuttelbug, is sold as a slave the next day, is chased by Shrike and climbs a rope to Anna Fang's airship - but his clothes remain impeccably clean and he has no beard stubble.
At several points, Shrike manages to catch up with Hester, even going so far as to know which specific room she is in at Airhaven. Yet it is never explained how he is able to effortlessly track her.
When the male character was unconscious in the rubble a girl found him and took his knife. He awoke. She left and he followed. It was muddy. His RIGHT foot plunged into the mud as shown in the movie. He reacts with disgust. The next scene shows him removing his LEFT foot from the mud while his RIGHT foot is on solid ground.
When Hester and Tom are rescued by the old couple in the centipede-like craft, they share a small room. Hester, while lying on her back, shares her sad life story. A tear rolls down her cheek, but, given the horizontal position she's in, this would be impossible. The tear should roll pass the side of her face.
When Tom and Hester are trapped in the centipede-like craft, its segments are shown to be clearly bouncing over a rough landscape. Yet neither they nor the room are affected at all.
When traction cities move, they vibrate enough to cause parts to occasionally fall off. Yet an old building like St Paul's Cathedral sustains not even a hint of vibration damage.
