Written from the point of view of a therapist dealing with habitual sex offenders, the story is gritty and at times uncomfortable. It doesn't shy away from the raw truth of trauma but more importantly it reminds us there is always hope.

Wow! Beautiful script and phenomenal acting.

I was beyond impressed with this film. Yes, it touches on a different side of abuse but that's what made it unique and can connect to so many people. The film provides some understanding to those who make poor choices while recognizing their trauma and the trauma inflicted. I loved the full circle reference at the end of the film bringing it all back to the vulnerability we all begin with. In addition, the acting was superperb. The counselors exhibited an empathy to their clients while holding accountability and a desire to help make change. The emotions were raw. This is a must see film.
Offensively bad

Watched this film at Victoria Film Fest and was shocked. I wouldn't have minded if the film was simply bad, but it dealt with themes of trauma and sexual assault in a grotesquely uninformed way. A male director trying to add gravitas to his movie by including as many gratuitous, disturbing violence as possible...Shame on the entire team that made this horrible piece of "cinema". Felt like it was written by a 13yo boy.
Gritty, honest and moving

This movie addresses a serious but relevant subject matter in an intelligent, careful and thoughtful manner. Superb writing and acting, lends itself to the suspense. Fragile Seeds dealt with the complex issues around historical sexual assault and abuse and how we try to heal the offenders. Difficult subject handled beautifully.
