Great Indie Animation, with a few issues...

Murder Drones is something I respect, it's great that indie animation is going on higher leagues this year and Murder Drones is a solid contender.

Murder Drones is a great combination of genres, the dedication and soul can really be seen in the quality of the animation.

Its weakest element is how it handles its humor, Murder Drones throws too many meta jokes that none hit well, it eventually bodes the meta humor to the point where they feel forced.

While the story is solid - even with some pacing issues, it's nice to see that it's great because the team put soul and dedication to this project.

It's not a masterpiece but it is great as an original project and it's a good example for what original indie animation should be.

It's kinda funny to see that this is where Liam Vickers is now. I remember watching Cliffside as a kid many moons ago, and it's cool to see him heading a larger project now. I don't think that it's incredible, but I do think it's interesting. It does feel a little too edgy and self-aware for its own good at times, and this is just nitpicking but I don't like how 95% of the time the characters look like they're talking out of the side of their mouth, but nonetheless the animation is really high-quality for a web series, the plot is interesting enough, and the aesthetic is really sleek and well-defined. It's just refreshing to see something completely original for once, it's what we need more of.

An Amazing Show!

When I first saw the announcement of this show from Glitch Productions, I didn't think I would really like it. Turns out I just didn't like the trailer. The pilot is really such a fun show full of action, comedy, amazing CGI & a surprising amount of robot gore

The premise of the show at first was kind of generic where humans abuse the worker drones, but then they put a unique spin on things and have the humans accidentally kill the planet they're on, killing all life on the planet before the robots even think of starting an uprising. I also quite like their explanation of why there are vampire-like robots killing all of the workers. I also think it's amazing how they got Michael Kovach to voice N, he's definitely the perfect fit for the character and honestly a hilarious contrast to one of his more popular roles; Angel Dust from Hazbin Hotel.

I love this show, but I can't really rate it 10/10. The one and only problem I personally have with Murder Drones is that 50% of the comedy either falls flat or comes off as pretty cringe. I hope they fix this problem when the first season releases.

I definitely recommend this! 9/10.

Absolutely fantastic

Not gonna lie. Aside from the plot (which is simple yet entertaining), the quality of the animation and the voice acting (both of which are exceptional), Murder Drones scratches a unique itch of mine. It combines several genres to create a dark/horror sci-fi, with much comedy and amazing attention to detail, which left me at the edge of my seat eager for more.

The aesthetics are nice and I like it, I really like how the murder drones are almost like vampires and in a world were we get bad reboots now, this is a refreshing original IP with a good story, the acting is great, I do see hands and other things clip but I've seen much worse, otherwise, im pleased.

The BEST ANIMATION EVER

I loved IT SO MUCH, the plot was great, the character development, and it has so much potential. I really liked the ending when it shoed that uzi was glitching. There are 4 messages that appear on the error screen, Warning, Tampering detected, Source: AI core null, Self detruct, and Absolute solve = false, Absolute solver = true. The fact that uzi wants to kill all humans, makes her an anti-hero. The fact that uzi is glitched by N's saliva, made me think about what could further hppen to uzi. I also noticed that uzi cannot be killed due to "Plot Armour" mes=aning that she is protected by the plot. I just seriously want to say more, but I just can't put everything else in to words.

I quite remember when SMG4 mostly announced this mostly around 2021 and I quite watch itself the pilot episode and it's was a bit amazing in my opinion, I mostly can't wait to watch Series 1.

I think it should be TV-14 Due to black blood language and humor. I mean design is good character is a good design And I think GLITCH productions Is gonna do Episode 2 and other episodes IDK.

Murder Drones is very good at setting up an interesting premise and presentation. A bunch of worker drones on the loose after humanity has wiped itself off, with murder drones sent to destroy said drones sounds like a very fun watch, and it is a fun watch, if you ignore the lore.

This show's biggest suffer is its poor pacing. The narrative never gets a chance to properly develop. The moment a character begins an arc, it either ends the very next episode or gets forgotten indefinitely to make room for a new one which follows the same formula. It's like the show is trying to be episodic and serial at the same time. You're also spoon-fed constant backstory lore, most of which isn't answered which on itself isn't a bad thing, but if you have double-digit of information not answered given in the first THREE episodes, then it will get cramped very fast.

On a positive note, the design for everything is eye candy. Despite the environment being pure white bliss from constant snowstorms blocking everything, or the drones living inside of bunkers accompanied by identical looking walls everywhere, the place really sets up the kind of world everyone lives in. The drones themselves have neat design with them wearing human accessories, and the animation overall is very fluid and clean, so much so that there isn't that much of a difference between the first and newest episode.

The comedy is good, but very meta and the show doesn't know when to be comedic and when to be serious. You'll have an unnerving situation, then a character do something silly and it's back to serious business. The pilot IMO struck a perfect balance between the two (probably because it didn't have so much lore revealed yet), so it's not like they can't find the perfect spot. All around this makes it very unclear how you're supposed to feel about the characters and what they're doing.

It's such a shame too. I really wanna say this is one of my favourite shows. The visuals, voice acting, music, it's all on the standards of an actual high budget TV show, but to a newcomer this show will throw too much at you, and in return expect too much from you.

With all the negativity, why a six? If you can get past not understanding half of what's going, this show really is a fun thing to experience for yourself. Plus as of me writing this review, the season has yet to be finished so maybe some things will be answered and is why I'm not rating it so harshly, however I highly doubt they'll finish this in a satisfying manner without ending it on an obvious cliffhanger for Season 2.

I like the show but is it going to have updates about the series and seasons or like something new characters or you know more updates of the series. And i know its from glitch and already like because of the characters of the show.

I like this show. Now as sombody who likes darkness its alright. Now I will start with the things I like about the show and with things I dislike

LIKES

1. Animation: they move like stop motion horror characters. So for something meant to be edgy is good. Also, I love the artstlye they went for.

2: subversions: I won't get into spoilers. But this show has a ton of subversions like the dad actually being detrimental and not misunderstood. Plus, the more lore related bits have neat twists which I think is cool.

3: The chacters are the best. They are just so charming to see on screen.

DISLIKES

1: comedy. The show is VERY meta and the comedy is not my cup of tea. And tbh it makes alot of the important moments less important. And its the main reason Its a six and not an 8

2: the dark moments just dont hit that well cause of the jokes. Its not BAD in fact I still like the seiries ether way. But if the show wants to be edgy I will mark it down.

3: also not bad but sometimes the idle movements look of and not in a good way.

In conclusion its a solid 6. I will still wach because Its charming but as an edgy show, just gives points awy for me dawg.

Half enjoy it, the other doesn't

I started watching this series with high expectations, but the truth is that I was a little disappointed, the only thing that stands out is the animation and the first 3 chapters, the 4 felt somewhat unnecessary, the 5 felt very filler, it is good that they explain what the Murder Drones did before, but they explained it in such a bad and boring way that I felt it was a filler chapter, Then I didn't understand anything about the 6th and in the end, instead of feeling sad for V, I felt anything but sadness.

I hope the last 2 chapters you put out are good, I'll make another more positive review.

Do I recommend this program? Yes, I'll just say that if you want to see it, don't have so many expectations.

Honestly I love murder drones a whole lot and it's honestly one of my favorite web series. The animation is amazing and gets better when new episodes release and the out of context moments are pretty fun and unexpecting, each episode the horror becomes more intense but it's not that scary either for people who get scared easily when watching horror movies. I love how much lore this series has and I especially love that everything's happening at a dead exoplanet. Each character has a fun and outgoing personality but however for the parents who just want to know if it's appropriate for their child or not here are a few things to know. #1 murder drones is a teens show it doesn't include very adult words and the worse it gets is freak and other than the first episode that says badass. #2 Its not something that a 7 year old should watch since it has a lot of violence, #3 there are some little jokes that aren't meant for children and are mostly meant for teens and adults but it's not even so serious like family guy.

Also the voice acting of the show is great you can really feel their emotions run through the animation when they speak and I really want to see more of this show hope it has a season 2 especially since there is so much mysteries to solve! Great work Glitch team for making this!

I never expected this show to be THIS good!

And I genuinely mean that title: I went into Murder Drones, expecting a middle-of-the-road indie show about killer robots. What I actually got is a show oozing with interesting characters, great lore/worldbuilding, beautiful animation, fantastic action sequences, great self-aware comedy, solid use of gore and psychological horror, and a never-ending sense of wanting to see more. Each episode does its job so well at not only making you laugh and keeping you at the edge of your seat, but also at keeping you intrigued for whatever is next in the future.

Murder Drones is one of the few shows out there that genuinely caught me by surprise at how great it is, and I implore more people to go ahead and seek it out. This is how indie animation should be done!

I love this show so much uzi and n are so perfect i love all charters on this show!! I enjoy the whole lore to this story very unique and great animation especially for indie animation!! It is unlike any other indie animation I have ever seen and I love how uzi says bite me that's something i say all the time too so me and her have that in common i love how strong and independent uzi is even though you know she needs and wants n in her life and n is just this special drone no one like him and he can't be beat he has the sweetest soul and i love how a murder drone took a worker drone literally under his wings so quickly and easily because she needed it.

Keep in mind that I've only watched the first 3 episodes. I don't know if they get better or worse or stay the same.

The concept of the show is really cool, and it's quite enjoyable to watch. I love the characters and their designs, and their personalities are pretty well developed. The animation is also really high quality and nice looking for an indie show.

A common criticism I've seen is of the humor. I personally like meta humor, but I do think they went a little overboard with it.

My main problem with this show is the pacing, which I've seen many other people talk about. Everything happens so fast that had to rewatch the episodes several times to fully grasp everything that happened. Some character arcs happen so fast that I really have to read into the episode to notice them. The characters swap sides so much that I have trouble figuring out whose side they're on sometimes. I have trouble figuring out the main motive of the characters, and whats supposed to be the problem at the moment.

I think this could've been avoided by either making the episodes longer, or making more episodes, but I understand that would take much more time and money.

All and all, I do think it's worth watching, but only if you are really focused and prepared to comprehend things very quickly.

Amazing animation show that keeps you hooked

I love the way they integrate the horror with comedy and romance. Absolute must watch. You never know what might happen next as V has probably killed the evidence they needed. Trying to figure out what everything actually means let's everyone have their own personal views on it and can try understand it themselves. The animation is perfect and you can't fault it. It's perfect in every way. Honestly it's a must watch for anyone. N is so funny and wholesome and Uzi .... Ugh..... who's that again? V is just V. Nothing else to describe her. And doors NO Khan, got mixed up again. Great door knowledge. I suggest it to everyone.

This show has some of the best story and character development i have ever seen in a web show, especially when the show is created by Liam Vickers (Created Cliffside, and Internecion Cube) and the people who made SMG4, this is one of the most darkest animated show I've ever seen and i love it! Also, animation is....fine i do see some errors but it is barely noticeable first time watching, i really recommend this show a lot! It is so Good hope the same with season 1.

Also Epi 2 came out, the animation have improved alot.

Amazing show, great if you want to get into YouTube webseries.

Murder Drones is a fantastic show. Visuals look stunning, even better than the Mario Movie, and that's a rare thing! The voice actors are amazing, and N and Uzi are clear highlights. It is also one of the first shows to use YouTube's new voice dubbing feature. The story is complex, which is what I like for my shows. My favourite episodes are 3 and 5, 16/6/23 (6/16/23).

I love the murderous aspect of the show and are very well done and has amazing presentation. There is nothing bad to say! This is just how Luigi described his own commercial. "That is cinema." Because it is! Just watch it. Thats all I have to say.

If you're a fan of SMG4, you won't like the lack of comedy. But the story is great.

Overall, very interesting.

This show does a great job at keeping the viewers hooked. Almost, if not every, episode so far has ended in a cliffhanger that is genuinely interesting. Also, this show does a great job conveying character development. Not only this, but it does a good job making us feel sympathy for even the most dislikable characters, excluding a few. I cannot describe how cool this show is, but it is extremely well made and its story is really compelling and interesting. Overall, it is amazing. Please, if you have the time and are interested in mystery, horror, comedy, or anything in between, I implore you to give it a watch.

This show is a great for teens. I could see it's recommended age group from 11 to 20 or so. I personally enjoyed it and found it entertaining, even though it is a bit all over the place. It took me a couple time of rewatching to get a full grasp on everything, but once I did I found the lore and hidden things very entertaining. In general I would recommend, but this is a very non serious show so if you don't like that it may not be for you. It has a decent amount of gore, but nothing too much and as it is robots I didn't find that very harmful to the overall show. It has very little cursing and the closest it has ever gotten was freaking. Plot wise, it is all over the place but I suspect once season 1 is done after watching the whole thing it will really sense. It is an anime, but I don't find it like others. It has various points where is quite obvious, but most of the time you can't really tell. Overall I think this is the best show Glitch Productions has made and is an amazing show that I think you should watch it. 10/10.

LIAM VICKERS DOESN'T DISSAPOINT!

After watching other works by Liam, such as Cliffside and Internecion Cube, I decided to check out Murder drones. And Oh boy where do I even begin with this! The soundtrack is suburb, Character designs and personalities are likeable and Liam Vickers is just an absolute LEGEND. He can just blend cuteness and horror into the perfect blend. I really really like this series. Episodes 2 and 5 stand out a lot to me and my strange horror and gore loving mind (Note; I am NOT a pyschopath). Also the voice actors are astounding and really fit in with the characters. What's my final verdict? I recommend Murder Drones to people who are fans of Liams work. 9/10.

Simply Amazing

This show is a fantastic indie animation production. For a web series the production value is through the roof. The animation and visuals are just stunning. The characters, while starting off a bit shallow, are loveable and charming. The world building is fantastic. After only 4 episodes, the GLITCH team were able to create a large and expansive world with plenty of passion behind it. The plot, while a bit questionable at times with some things coming out of no where, is far from cliche. However, I personally think self-aware writing goes a bit far sometimes and despite being a comedy, I don't think the show is very funny. Despite that, I cna't give this show any less than a 10/10. There is so much love and care put into it and created by a small indie studio. This show is a breath of fresh air compared to the mass-produced coperate trash that is most modern animation, and I could not recommend it more.

I know there's only been 3 episode releases with the 4th being just over the horizon but everything from the drones to the design is amazing, the gun that Uzi made, the absolutely adorable N <3 and everything in-between.

Even the side characters are amazing I can't wait for the rest to be released this is gonna be AMAZING.

If anyone is reading this you MUST watch Murder Drones right this second! GO, DO IT, NOW! ZOOM OVER TO YOUTUBE MY PERSON YOU WILL NOT REGRET WATCHING IT, BEST DECISION OF YOUR LIFE IF YOU DO OMG
