Teach Me Tonight
Hitchcoc6 October 2021
Howard with his convoluted view of he male role in a relationship offends Bernadette. She puts up with a lot, but this is not going to fly. She is extremely bright and is interested in Leonard's work. Howard becomes jealous, making things worse. Penny sees how interested Bernadette is and feels stupid. So she enlists Sheldon to teach her physics so she can talk to Leonard. The tutoring session is quite amazing.

A great episode with many funny moments. Sheldon teaching Penny physics was fun all the way. And her reciting the sentence he apparently let her memorize at the end was really funny. Howard and Bernadette's relationship is also a good part of this episode. Liked her saying that if she didn't go into microbiology she would study physics or ice skating. And Howard being jealous was also a fun thing. Glad that at the end she forgave her tushy face.

Pretty funny and relatable episode

This was a pretty good episode of Big Bang Theory. It has the somewhat relatable joke of Howard getting a girlfriend, and constantly reminding everyone he sees that he's managed to become part of a relationship.

"The Gorilla Experiment" was another wall-to-wall funny episode of "The Big Bang Theory"

In this episode of last season's "The Big Bang Theory": Howard introduces Bernadette to the rest of the gang as they are having their usual Chinese takeout dinner. Bernadette is sociable enough to talk shoes with Penny ("Mom was right. There is a Hell", says Sheldon), and be interested in Leonard's experiments to Howard's consternation since he wants her all to himself. Penny, hearing how interested Bernadette gets when Leonard talks about his latest assignment, gets jealous herself and, in a plot straight from "Pygmalion", asks Sheldon to teach her physics. After initially rejecting, Sheldon obliges and goes overboard enough that even Henry Higgins would surely object...This was another hilarious episode of "The Big Bang Theory" and the addition of Melissa Rauch as Bernadette adds immensely to the cast chemistry here. And her sweetness seems the perfect match to Howard's occasional arrogance concerning the way he describes their relationship. Especially loved the way he tries to intimidate Leonard here. And how perfect was it to see Penny and Sheldon lock horns again? So on that note, "The Gorilla Experiment" was another excellent ep of "The Big Bang Theory".

Another episode of two halves for me.

I liked the Sheldon/Penny plot far more than I liked the other involving Leonard/Howard and Bernadette.

There are some laughs along the way, but I didn't think this was the best episode.
