Why am I watching these dysfunctional relationships? There's nothing redeeming about these characters. They all need therapy.
If you're going to make the audience a fly on the wall of a manipulative fiancée, parents who clearly need parenting courses, or a couple that uses guilt trips to get their way, then at least give us something to take home other than a bad taste in our mouths and the need for a long shower.
What are you trying to say? The characters don't grow and they don't seem to learn anything. They seem to have no self-awareness, leaving us frustrated bystanders who gradually grow to dislike the characters. Try providing some insight or meaning.
