On the day of his birthday, Henry leaves the office very happy, but out of the blue, he is kidnapped by hooded guys. Soon he learns that it is a prank of Nick, Greg and Hodges that want to take him to the remote but famous BBQ restaurant Harry's Hog Hideout. They are thrown off road by a reckless female driver, the car is destroyed, but they reach the place by foot. They find the place closed due to a hepatitis outbreak, and Nick sees a dead body of a man with a racoon on his face. The entertainment becomes an investigation. Meanwhile, a woman calls 911, and Brass, Catherine and Langston find her dead. Brass finds the real-estate mogul Bernard Higgins sitting on a chair treating apnea. He says that the victim is his girlfriend Lily Xiaoping and becomes the prime-suspect. But when he dies, the investigators find that he was a victim too.
"Appendicitement" is a good episode of "CSI", with two good cases. Henry's case on his birthday is more complicated due to the lack of resources of Nick, Greg and Hodges that stumble upon a case when they were supposed to have goodtime. The case of the infected appendix implanted in the wealthy man is one more case of the notorious Dr. Jekyll. My vote is seven.
