Pretty average game in the detective genre

Pretty average game in the detective genre. You can see that this is an indie game - the controls are uncomfortable, graphics and animations are not very pleasing to the eye. The plot, which is important for detective games, was interesting and to the end it was not clear who the killer is. Perhaps the plot is completely taken from the original book, but I'm sorry I have not read it. Of the problems I can still highlight the fact that you can not skip scenes, a total of global locations for the whole game on which you have to go through the entire map in order to ask one question to the person at the other end of the map. In general, I received some pleasure from the game and thought about reading the original, which is important.

So i will do the review by telling the quality and the things that i didnt like:

Pros:

• the story give some interesting themes (love, murder, jealousy, war, friendship, poor and rich, society, family, justice of course) and have an interesting mise en scene and also some characters more complex than it seems at the first look. And that make us engaged to know more, see more and investigate more and i really wanted to find the killers during these two cases and i found them interesting even if the second case gave more difficulties and more revelations and more interesting situations i like them both

• music: what to say more? It make us more immersive in the cases and more engaged

-some interesting interviews and choices of dialogues

-a real mystery

Cons:

• repetitive after a few moments

-too much linear -the map where we have all the reflexions and dot to connect can be overwheilming and frustrated because too much informations and we can get lost sometimes -too short ( i finished the game in 2 days) maybe 5 hours of gameplay overall -too much reflexions sometimes and i probably wanted something with more differents sometimes in the gameplay but it was ok -the choices of dialogue can be meaningless and the fact that we can redo what we failed remove that challenge and just let us redo again and again. No challenge

I like it anyway despite some problems like too much repetitions, too much mind maps connections and a rythm not really even but i found the mysteries engaging and make us care about the characters and of course make us more concern to find the killers. A nice video game and a nice murder mystery. I recommend.
