Surprisingly good!

I came into this with no idea what to expect and I have to admit... I liked what I saw. I'm not usually a fan of the "cute" MC types, but then again the cute little cat girl isn't really the MC... her OP sword of awesomeness is!

An Isekai where the MC is becomes a sword. It's such nonsense but I have to admit its actually a pretty fun watch. Go in with low expectations and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

It has your standard isekai formulae, but with a fun and refreshing twist. I have to admit I'm watching it every week and it'll a good filler while you wait.

I would say its a solid 7, but this could go up depending on how the story progresses (early days yet).

Great anime

It uses some elements from generic isekai (parallel world) stories, but those elements are used in a very well way creating an amazing adventure story.

The story starts with one of the main characters waking up in a strange world, alone, realizing that he just died and got reincarnated into a sword (Shisho). The first episode maybe be a bit cliche, the character gets to moves around thanks to magic and kill the monsters around and powering up, until he gets stuck in a place where he can't use magic, and he stays there until the other main character finds him, a little cat-girl called Fran, who is a slave trying to flee from her owners. The meet of those two characters is where the real adventure starts. With help of Shisho, Fran gets really strong but she still have many weakness that she will have to overcome overtime. Both characters are super charismatics, Fran can be very cute and very scary, she won't show any hesitation when killing an enemy, and Shisho treats her as if she was her own daughter, supporting her all the way though.

For me, the biggest points on this series:

• The main characters (Shisho and Fran) are very charismatic

• Great fight scenes. Animators really did a great job animating the scenes.

• Great BGM, the BGM of when Fran is fighting is spectacular. Yasuharu Takanashi really did a great job on this production.

-The story won't let you get you bored, Fran and Shisho will face more and more strong enemies, but it's also very fun on their daily life, when they are just on a day-off from adventure.

For anyone who enjoyes a fantasy story, I recommend this anime a lot.

Instantly became one of my favorite Isekai Anime

I love love love this anime! From the story, the characters, the music during the fights, Fran's VA doing an excellent job at making Fran sound so cute and adorable and not to mention that bit of the drama at the end with Amanda. I had my suspicions that Amanda knows her parents but i did not expect her to be their adopted mother and frankly it made me teary eyed when Fran called her Mamanda. I am so looking forward to season 2 and i hope it comes out soon and that we don't have to wait 2 years or so. The only complain i have is probably that the anime is too short and should have had Cour 2..

I really want to have it's next season,it is one of the finest anime I ever watch. Even it's only a year since i became a anime lover. I love to recommend it to all of you it is full of exiting part that im sure you love to watch. It is also enjoyable and addicted anime that you can watch happily. I'm sorry if im bad at grammars.

This is the only thing I can think about this anime but I promise it is worth it to watch and you will surely love it's amazing story. Watch it now guys. 😭109 more characters required. I will love to spoiled you but no thanks it will be better if you manage to watch it all.

starts off good and then descends into dumb rubbish..

It starts off pretty good like your average isekai with a little twist... Its an interesting premise with lots of potential.....

The animation style holds up, the action is pretty good, there's intelligence behind the magic system, the only problem I have is that the plot is driven by stupidity, especially after episode 6, its stupid out of character decision and behavior's left right and center with a side dish of retcons here and there.....

The writing suffers from laziness and stupidity which gets annoying especially given the potential, its like intelligent people wrote only 6 episode and then gave up and handed it over to morons......

Another compelling story with vile tropes

The base of this anime is a standard power leveling Isekai, where the goal of the MC who's a sword is to help a cat girl child, Fran, evolve, something her species has never done before. Nothing too special but the leveling and fights are compelling and well done, and it doesn't pull punches. The reason I started watching was that for the first time in a while we get an Isekai protagonist who is against slavery, and Frans journey of evolving also incorporates themes of overcoming discrimination and helping to save her people from a life of subjugation. The relationship with Fran and the sword named "Teacher" is that of father daughter, but there are moments where the animes teeters the line a bit with some uncomfortable scenes. The first is a bathing scene, where Fran drags the sword to a bathhouse and wants to clean him while naked. I could barely write that off as father daughter activities? It's still uncomfortable and I mostly skipped over it. That next part that got me to drop the anime was with the Guilds pedo-esq stalker who harasses Fran despite her clearly being uncomfortable. It's supposed to be funny, it just end up being vile. Don't bother with this one unless you want to deal with that garbage, there are better shows out there.
