Curiosity Packages the Pursuit and Pursues the Packages
WeatherViolet8 October 2010
First, in the City, on a Friday afternoon, Curious George and the Man with the Yellow Hat visit Professor Wiseman at the Museum of Science, where she is very busy with paperwork regarding the openings of exhibits in other museums, so the Man with the Yellow Hat volunteers to help Professor Wiseman to relax on Saturday; the Man with the Yellow Hat and Curious George think of ideas to relax, when Curious George suggests a picnic.

Well, Saturday morning, Curious George and the Man with the Yellow Hat invite Professor Wiseman to Endless Park, but neither the Man with the Yellow Hat nor Curious George is able to open the pickle jar, so Professor Wiseman instructs Curious George as to how to open the pickle jar, which spills all over the blanket and the Man with the Yellow Hat.

Now, the Man with the Yellow Hat and Curious George then suggest lying in a hammock, but Curious George twists and turns it, capturing the Man with the Yellow Hat inside the entanglement, so Professor Wiseman teaches Curious George how to use a baseball bat for leverage to untangle the hammock and to release the Man, who lands upon his Yellow Hat.

But with only one hour left for relaxation, Curious George and the Man with the Yellow Hat begin to feed the ducks, as the Man with the Yellow Hat grows anxious, and Curious George trips over a stick to spill the duck feed into the lake, along with the Yellow Hat, which lands upon a duck, and so Professor Wiseman must instruct Curious George how to solve the problem to retrieve the Yellow Hat from a rock, by fitting a pickle half onto a fishing line, and to string the fishing line around the branch of a tree as a pulley.

So, the Man with the Yellow Hat apologizes to Professor Wiseman for her having to spend her relaxation time solving problems, and, now that Professor Wiseman leaves for the Museum of Science, Curious George and the Man with the Yellow Hat are exhausted, so what do you think that they could do to "Relax?"

Next, also in the City, Aunt Margaret awaits two packages from the Delivery Man, but she must run errands, and because Betsy and Steve are not around, Curious George volunteers to play with Charkie the black Cocker Spaniel, who goes after the first package, bubble bath bottles from Mabel's Department Store, which the Delivery Man hands to Aunt Margaret, who explains that Charkie would try to open the bulk bubble bath bottle batch, but he mustn't because bubble bath bottles break to bits and spill bubble bath.

Now, Aunt Margaret sets the package of bubble bath bottles inside her residence and asks Curious George to keep Charkie the black Cocker Spaniel from going inside to sniff the package, and also to await the Delivery Man and his second package, which he must have forgotten to deliver.

Well, the Delivery Man arrives with his second package from Mabel's Department Store, and so Curious George accepts it but cannot sign for it, and, of course, Charkie the black Cocker Spaniel attempts to pursue the package to intercept from the clever Curious George, who runs carrying it, or at least until Charkie intercepts it, to carry along the sidewalk, or at least until Charkie stops to lap a puddle, giving Curious George the advantage to intercept the package in return.

But when Curious George tries to protect the package, to Charkie-proof it, by climbing onto a tree, pigeons begin to peck at it, and Charkie the black Cocker Spaniel continues to pursue it, so Curious George ties the box on a rope to a branch with a bell upon it to hear, but the rope dangles, and Charkie once again intercepts the package anyway and runs along the sidewalk carrying it, but Charkie cannot resist lapping the puddle again, and so Curious George, once again, takes possession of it.

Then, Curious George rushes into the lobby of Apartment Building #7, just as the the Doorman presents Hundley the Doorman's Dachshund with a see-through carrier box, but Charkie the black Cocker Spaniel chases Curious George into the elevator and up into his apartment, where Curious George hides Aunt Margaret's second package, first into a drawer and then into a wagon, until Charkie finds and intercepts the wagon, causing the package to fling outside, over the balcony railings, down onto the entranceway awning, and bouncing upon the sidewalk below, and onto the street, where the Delivery Man retrieves it to place upon his truck.

So, will Curious George decide to team with Charkie the black Cocker Spaniel to figure which package upon the Delivery Man's truck belongs to Aunt Margaret according to smell, or should Curious George ask the Doorman and the Delivery Man for help to return Aunt Margaret's second package, and keep it from Charkie the black Cocker Spaniel, as Curious George seems torn between "The Box and the Hound?"
