As this episode opens it looks as if Mitchell has fallen off the waggon when we see him covered in blood with the bodies of a couple of girls... we soon see that this is in fact a flash back to an event in the sixties where he and Herrick have taken a trip to London. While Herrick is off looking for the car and Mitchell is cleaning up the mess several police officers turn up, Mitchell takes refuge in the flat of the woman downstairs threatening that he will kill her too if she tells the police he is there. Meanwhile in the present George is getting closer to his new girlfriend although her daughter doesn't seem too keen on him and Annie has found herself roped into babysitting for another ghost. In the present Mitchell is having problems with the police... they, or at least one senior officer, want him to kill for them.
This episode was one of the best of the series, it was nice to see an important event from Mitchell's past which gave us a chance to see Herrick once again. Annie's story was nice too as she realises she will never have a child of her own, something she hadn't thought about before.
