With Addison as the lead character, and a soon off from the incredible Grey's Anatomy what drive me nuts is the lead roles or significant characters from Greys are casted/playing different roles on Private Practice. You can't take Addison, Derek, Dr. Bailey and Karev playing themselves having Hunts Mo m episode 1 play someone else and later April Kepner and Megan Hunt also as different characters than their Greys it just makes the show painful. Regardless if they premiered in Private Practice first, as key characters in one show, Greys, they can't play guest roles of random people in a show where timelines and characters intertwine. Its different as a guest star for example Tracie Thoms who plays Coletter PP s3e4 and Roberta Greys s15e6 but then she has a reoccuring role in spinoff Station 19. Still not as bad as using significant leads as different character guests.
