Mamooty's Best Performance and the best of the current lot.
surya022017 April 2011
Really loved the movie, probably made on a shoe string budget. But the human emotions and the detail that has been captured by the director is incredible.A very very simple story told in a beautiful way. It also captures most of the landscapes of Kerala. The performance will make you cry, laugh, feel for the character.

The old man also puts in a good performance.Must watch for all Mamooty fans. Gracy singh's role was really of no meaning, but then who will not like to work with Mamooty. This and Pranji ettan must be at the top for Mamooty. Really superb performances.

Am giving the whole 10 stars only for Mamooty, i don't think any other actor could have carried off the role as he has.

Nice Malayalam Movie.....I would rate it among good movies in Indian cinema

The story is simple but contrasts the differences in the society of a rich society person and a village simpleton. The story is simple and the characters are very natural. I loved the movie for the simple messages given in the movie. Mammotty has delivered a good role. The other different cast members have also given good roles specially the character played by Menon and supported by cast members like jagathy, janardhanan, gracy Singh and others. The story line is simple as in Mammotty is simple guy who comes in contact with menon due to his need for money. menon is a guy who has spent many years outside India and had come home after many years. The movies delves into the relationship between these 2 characters with their past and the present society.

Good things never dies So does 'Mic'

'Loud Speaker' is a charming film that sets a gentle ripple of goodness in your heart. It's a film about being human; a refreshing one although this is a film with real characters and real emotions. The story has innocence and humanity that makes the film good. it takes us back to the good old days when some really simple were made and even enjoyed, without pretensions. It has Mammootty at his best, and by virtue of his natural charm and dazzling wit, Mic gets away with almost everything that he does. As simple as it appears, this is an intricate role that he breathes all his life into, with some sheer innocence being his soul Last but not the least here comes Sasikumar. I wouldn't want to see anybody else as Menon; Sasikumar is as real as Menon could ever be. 'Loud Speaker' is a film that I want to believe in. One of those films that would have you walk out of the cinema hall with a smile on your face, it speaks volumes of the life that we so often miss out on.
