After four enlightening, entertaining and full-frontally filthy years of Sex Education, this Netflix teen drama is coming to an end with its fourth and final series, as the Moordale kids finish up their school years for good.
A lot has changed as we enter the new series. Moordale Secondary has closed down, scattering the student body we grew to love over the first three series far and wide, and Otis and Eric are starting at the unnervingly progressive wonderland that is Cavendish College, with a whole new set of classmates to get to know. Maeve is now studying in America, Otis’ mum Jean has just had a surprise new baby, and a few other Sex Education favourites are missing entirely.
Let’s take a look at the Sex Education series four cast, old and new:
New Cast Dan Levy as Thomas Molloy

Ally Pankiw will make her feature directing debut with “Brooke & Sam,” an upcoming comedic drama featuring “Shiva Baby” breakout Rachel Sennott.
The film, which quietly wrapped production, follows Sam, a young stand-up comedian and au pair struggling with Ptsd, who is weighing whether or not to join the search for Brooke, a missing girl she used to nanny. The story exists between the present, where Sam tries to recover from her trauma with the help of her friends in the comedy community, and the past, where memories of Brooke make it harder and harder to ignore the teen’s disappearance; and harder and harder to get back on stage.
Pankiw, who wrote the script along with directing the film, has established herself in the television and streaming world. Her directing and executive producing credits include the entire first season of Netflix’s series, “Feel Good,” which was created by and stars comedian Mae Martin.

One year after “Schitt’s Creek” had its historic sweep at the Emmys — becoming the first comedy to win every major award — its co-creator Dan Levy has signed a new deal with Netflix.
In the deal, which is said to be eight figures under competitive circumstances, Levy will work on both movies and television. He’ll start work immediately on the film side, on an untitled romantic comedy that he’ll star in, write, produce and direct. Sister’s Stacey Snider and Kate Fenske will also produce with Levy. No further details about the project were announced.
Levy and Netflix was a marriage waiting to happen: It was the streamer that propelled “Schitt’s Creek” — which premiered on Pop TV in 2015 — into the stratosphere. In a Variety cover story about the show in April 2020, Eugene Levy, “Schitt’s Creek” co-creator and Dan Levy’s father, told Variety that when the comedy began streaming...

A year after winning four Primetime Emmys for the hit comedy series Schitt’s Creek, Dan Levy has closed a first look feature deal and an overall one in scripted content with Netflix, under which he’ll write and produce.
Levy’s work in film will begin promptly with an original untitled romantic comedy which he’ll direct, write, produce and star in. Sister’s Stacey Snider and Kate Fenske will also produce alongside Levy. The multi-hyphenate’s work in series will start in July 2022 when his current three-year overall deal with ABC Signature ends.
“Netflix offered Schitt’s Creek a second home at just the right time and opened the doors to a whole new audience for us,” said Levy, “Watching the show thrive there has only enhanced my excitement about continuing to tell specific, meaningful stories with them in both tv and feature film. A full circle moment.”
