The film has recorded dialogue in both English and Arabic. Spoken Arabic is 20% longer than English so motion capture work was required to be captured against the longer Arabic dialogue. Motion capture talent that was fluent in classical Arabic could not be found in Hollywood. As a result trained dancers were hired to act out the entire story to a click track of "counts of eight".
Produced in conjunction with King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud's celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
