"Hell Hath No Fury" is about a French woman, part of the resistance (Marie), who has sided with Germany but has her own agenda. When she is branded as a collaborator by France, she helps US soldiers (under the command of Major Maitland) looking for the gold hidden by her on a cemetery in exchange for her freedom. I don´t understand the low ratings and bad reviews this movie gets. I have seen worse. Furthermore the storyline and plot twist is not that bad and the dialogues are very good written and executed. In addition the acting of Nina Bergman (Marie) and Louis Mandylor (Major Maitland) is pretty good. Just watch the movie and get through the beginning. Once you are in the flow, you might like this movie. I did!

Funny that the title of the movie actually would turn out to be a dead give-away on the contents of the actual movie. Who knew?
When I sat down to watch the 2021 war movie "Hell Hath No Fury" from writers Katharine Lee McEwan and Romain Serir, I must admit that I was expecting a tad more than what the movie actually delivered. Now, don't get me wrong here, because I am not saying that "Hell Hath No Fury" was a bad movie. It was just bland and somewhat anti-climatic. Especially since the movie's cover/poster lead on to believe t hat there was a lot more action in the movie than it turned out.
The storyline told in "Hell Hath No Fury" was simple to follow, for better or worse. However, for my liking, then the simplicity of the storyline was inadequate, because it made for a less than mediocre movie experience. And especially so since you could essentially leave the movie running for an extended time and come back, only to find you have missed out on nothing important to the plot.
They did have a good ensemble of performers in the movie, with the likes of Nina Bergman, Louis Mandylor and a very well-cast Daniel Bernhardt. I will say that especially Louis Mandylor and Daniel Bernhardt stood out in the movie with their individual performances, and they really made the movie watchable.

I have no idea what people are smoking or drinking to give this movie a high rating. Seriously, someone found this erotic? Wow they must be desperate for a date because there was nothing erotic about it. I don't have any complaints about the characters or some decent visuals. But the whole movie seemed like it was a rip off of much better movies and just seemed far too unrealistic. There were far too many flaws to overlook. It was a very poorly executed and paced movie. As others mentioned, explosives that did very little damage and bombers that drop full loads with barely a scratch to the terrain. This honestly wasn't even worth the watch. I would have been better off watching The Dirty Dozen again instead of this nonsense.

Well it is one of the worst movies of all time. In particular I will never forget the jeep that remained the same after 10 kgs of TNT just blasted. And the so called "SS" guys they die and then they appear again. It means that there was not enough cast. In short stay away folks !

Every movie i check out anymore has the exspert critics to remind us that this movie is a rippoff or borrowed stuff of another movie or similar.. So WHAT...if it's entertaining to me doesn't matter... not looking for perfect movies if they even exist.. everyone trying to out-critic the other person like it's a mission. It's a movie not a science exspiriment that has to be disected frame by frame...either like it or you don't. Don't have the time anymore to read all the Rodger Ebberts takes on every movie here.

Jesse V. Johnson's films have never really had any depth, but they always have some good action. Sadly, this one lacks both. Turns out hell hath no fury, no script and no action. Spare yourself the trouble and steer clear away from this piece of trash.

It was a decent low budget production. When I first saw the utterly ridiculous low overall rating at 3.7, I flipped over to see what the professional critics thought on Rotten Tomatz (88%), so I'm glad I did.
Sure this is no epic Hollywood big budget war film, but is well casted and acted, especially Mandylor and Murphy as the battle-worn and ready American fighters, and Bernhardt as Von Bruckner. The alluring little rocket Nina Bergman was great until the cemetery acts; she either over-acted or looked angry all the time, for no reason. But her performance overall was noteworthy.
The cinematography was excellent and the directing great. The writing by the two amateur writers was lacklustre for the most part, with many plot and technical issues. The 94 min runtime screenplay needed many cuts and edits. It was too long for the barely climatic and too-short storied screenplay.
Yet still, for pretty much a one location set, low budget B film, it's a good one time watch. It's a well deserved 7/10 from me.

The story: a small group of American soldiers are searching for Nazi gold, during the last days of world war 2. They have to fight till the bitter end though to find the gold. Will they find the gold and get out alive?
Upon first look this seems to be a B-movie, with B-listed actors. But looks can deceive, because this is a rock solid, tough, original, well acted war movie. And I have seen A LOT of war movies in my lifetime and I really appreciate this new edition, for what it is: straightforward action, WITH good dialogues and good acting performances.
8 stars because of these good acting performances combined with this gritty, bleak story, which is captivating and suspenseful from the beginning till the end. Definitely an unknown war movie gem!

First off I only felt inclined to write this review after seeing the shockingly low score and all the 1 star reviews that make no sense. Those people should really reconsider the way they view films. Criticizing a film like this for being cheap isn't exactly valid because the movie is a straight to video effort from a straight to video director with straight to video cast members and for that kimd of movie Hell Hath no Fury delivers a fine actioner that is tightly plotted (unlike earlier Jesse V Johnson movies) fine acting (Louis Mandylor has grown on me since seeing his pairing with Scott Adkins in Debt Collector and it is always a joy to watch Daniel Bernhardt in an actual role and not just an appearance where he gets his ass kicked by some Hollywood pretty boy/girl or SNL comedians, the rest of the cast was fine) and loads of action inspired by the likes of Sam Peckinpah.
Now as much as I liked JVJ's other films the shootouts weren't exactly his strongest aspect. Here he kind of makes an improvement in that department but still it is no John Woo or Johnnie To however it's always great to see those juicy ass squibs again. Hollywood please listen to action fans worldwide for once, we demand to bring back the juicy squibs! CG blood is a crime against cinema.
Overall decent DTV action flick, you would totally enjoy this if you go into it not expecting to get your mimd blown and definetly do not believe the negative ratings 3.7/10 is the kind of score I'd give to those half assed excuses of movies that Seagal churns out every once in a while, this is no where near as bad as that even if you ended up dislilikg it.

They have mentioned Marie Dujardin name at the name since 1947 german/nazis war. But there no name on google or on wikipedia since 1947. Marie Dujardin only mentioned since 1854-1893 and she was a painter. Actually name has been used as a hoax story. This is not the real story that has been mentioned at the end of the movie. Entire movie is a hoax.

It's low budget I get it (so you get 1 free star) however none of the characters are likeable and the writing is so so, the script and character interactions are decent besides the action scenes. It's wrought with medium-low quality blood and for the type of movie the somewhat over the top gore seemed misplaced. Also the shooting scenes, let's just say there are problems. In conclusion, I almost seem like it was wasted time even watching this, almost. Watch it if you like WW2 movies, lots of blood, movies with a lot of twists and turns, and if it's free with a streaming service (wouldn't pay much for this one, sorry)

Wow, this really is utter garbage. Cardboard cut-out characters that don't get killed off quickly enough in this poorly scripted plot. I was impressed by the characters skills with languages though, with French and Germans all happily conversing in English with each other (and barely a trace of accent). Storyline stretches plausibility beyond the limits of even the most gullible. The graveyard made a nice setting for the 'action' but that gratuitously gets blown up at the end by the American bombers with nothing better to do with their time.
The action surprisingly intense, and bloody gore! Really should watch it! Well done!

This film start with two people talking in a car, and they been attacked scene! As turnout, this film is about a French woman "Marie" need to survive from the killing of a American soldier "Major Maitland" by leading him to the gold she hidden! Entire film full of quite intense, and bloody gore scene! Such as, bloody shooting, bloody stabbing, and explosion scene! Make the film quite watchable! At the end, Major Maitland killed by Marie, and Marie survive from the air strike! That's it! A quite entertain film!

Although many people will disagree with my statement, I really think Jesse V. Johnson without a doubt is the best director who works in the DTV scene right now with a string of heavy hitters alongside Scott Adkins and now in 2021, his winning streak continues with Hell Hath No Fury, a very ambiguous and self-contained period piece that somehow blew all my expectations away since the trailer. Almost everyone brings their A-games into the movie from the always awesome/scummy Major Maitland played by Louis Mandylor to some of the best acting chops that I've ever seen from Daniel Bernhardt as the menacing yet heartthrob Von Bruckner to Dominique Vandenberg powerhouse acting when he got to speaks his native language. Fans who used to see these guys kick-asses on-screen gotta have a hard time watching the movie due to the slow-burn nature of the movie but they will be rewarded with a bloody aftermath when all hells break loose. Although the script was not as tight as I hope for and some of the character's decisions make little to no sense the movie is still a much watch for action fans all around so I highly recommended it.

I watch movies to be entertained. Was I entertained? Yes! Occasionally a movie comes along that stands hands and shoulders above the rest and will score 10/10. This movie doesn't, but it wasn't intended to. The production, direction and acting all knew what was required of them on a low budget. Did they achieve that. Yes they did. To reiterate, "I was entertained". And that's what movies are intended to do! To many so-called expert critics forgetting about entertainment and looking for flaws! Why do people just try and relax and stop looking for perfection and Oscar winners? If it's not for you, move on!

I only watched this because it appeared in my feed because I love WWII action movies. The acting was terrible, the plot was hard to follow and it seemed far too unrealistic. For example, after she shot the guy in the head, dumped his heavy lifeless in the crypt, he somehow escaped, survives and makes a full recovery yet somehow leaves behind his bag of gold. Plus the subtitles were off. To top it off, the written epilogue at the very end made me wonder if this was based on actual events. So I googled it, and it didn't seem to be true. However the costumes and props were decent for a low budget film.
