1) the idea of Bruce as a principled goth mortician would've been excellent if not for twist ruining it.
2) The podcasting is made for Batman, the methodical pace & the not over the top fantasy nature of Batman makes him the most apt Superhero for podcasting. While it may not have succeeded here, there's promise in Batman podcasts.
3) The voice actors were chosen for the role, While you may dislike the role (Barbara, Val) they did their job fine. But they also compounded the negatives of the role as they were efficient at it. Bruce Wayne was a good cast.

Story, script, wokeness, characters, depth.
Batman while a dark genre was never a hateful one. The characters are disrespectful & entitled. Barbara treating her friend like an errand dog was disgraceful. The writers write characters like this & sprinkle woke dialogues like "all men are perverts."
Batman was the show which featured strong women before the modern woke who resemble the sexists of past started to shout slogans to exploit others. So keep your nonsense out of the most righteous superhero tale.
The subtle dialogues to thrust wokeness just ruins the experience. You either get irritated orbget brainwashed if you can't actively analyze their language.
The script was so average. It's no better than the gazillion detective stories out there. Written by people who don't understand the essence of Batman. Why would they, after all wokeness is Joker esque not Batman esque.
I can go on but I digress.
