When the Zen owner of a baseball academy Barney Sloop is found beaten to death by a baseball bat in his garden, the CBI agents assume the investigation. There are many suspects in the list: his partner Freddy Fitch, who will inherit the academy; his ex-wife Leslie Sloop, who will receive his life insurance; his coach, his players and theirs fathers are all interviewed by the agents. Meanwhile, Patrick is hit by a ball on his head and he faints and dreams on his life in a carnival with his con-artist father. Who might be the killer?
