"Hysterical Blindness" is notable for having perhaps the fewest regular series actors present (only five - Christine Rose included), but it's one of the better episodes. The highlight is Claire's story, which looks like a "Single White Female"-type of scenario at first, but has a neat twist which answers a lot of questions (and solves the mystery of Annie's death in the season's premiere). The HOT kiss between Hayden Panettiere and Madeline Zima is just an unexpected bonus! In the other story lines, we see a new side to Sylar, who retains his powers but can't remember anything, and a funny sequence of Peter realizing that he has just switched powers inadvertently! It's too early yet to tell where this season is going, but I already prefer its quieter style in comparison to the second half of season 3. *** out of 4.
