Buitifull between horror and regret

Horror

It's good to see Rani as an old lady it worked really well in this episode and it does not have a remotely bad moment in the actual story.

Regret

Rani regrets that she has been ignoring her friends and feels sorry how she went with the ignoring thing. She also regrets saying the speech which I will not do.

Script

The script buy Russell T Davies was a good script and not that bad did lack a bit with the actual storyline and concept but otherwise a good idea

The Demon

Eve the Demon was brought up buitifully in a amusement park which was great. The general idea and concept works for a one of character.

The Music

A buitifull score of music really done well and it really created a good horror background of music which does not get old.

Bad bits

Sometimes Rani can be a little overused And the tone can be bad

Otherwise it is a recommendation for you to go and see It it's only Cert. PG

The Mad Woman in the Attic

Warning: Spoilers
The year is 2059. In the derelict attic of 13 Bannerman Road, an elderly Rani Chandra tells the story of the day she met the alien Eve and how her life went wrong.

Review of both parts -

I don't know where to begin, the story had dark elements, crazy writing. What I liked about this episode is about the flashbacks. I love flashbacks, they bring back the viewers memories, love the flashback to Planet of the Spiders, The Hand of Fear, and especially The Five Doctors. I freaked out, man.

The makeup done on that red chick was brilliant, not one of those "horrific"-looking CGI monsters, I dig it. It was also great to see K-9 again. I will definitely re-watch this episode in 2059, if I am still alive...

I can't wait to see what's probably my most favorite episode, The Wedding of Ri- Sarah Jane Smith!

Lofty Ambition

Review of both parts:

I would say that this story is ambitious, dark and intriguing.

Ambitious because it involves the idea of meeting Rani as an old woman filled with regret after a choice she made as a teenager. This idea is a good, fresh twist on the idea of changing the course of events by choices we make.

Dark because the bitter regret and sadness of Rani's choice and of her apparent fate is quite heavy and shocking for young viewers.

Intriguing because we want to know how Rani came to be the way she is and whether this can change as well as wanting to know what is going on with her friend and the fairground he gets her to visit.

There is a bit of clumsy exposition and imperfect dialogue but this is definitely a strong, interesting and enjoyable adventure with the usual good quality acting.

My ratings: Part 1 - 8/10, Part 2 - 7.5/10. Overall - 7.75/10.

A chilling insight into the future, solid episode.

In 2059 a boy called Adam discovers a man woman living up in the attic at Bannerman Road, Rani Chandra.

I had pretty mixed views on this one at the time, and years on, I can't say my opinions have changed all that much.

It's definitely ambitious episode, there are shades of Turn Left, as it really is a what if scenario, Rani made a bad choice, and ended up with an unexpected life.

Souad Faress was pretty good as an older Rani. Anjli Mohindra I am a really big fan of, I'm just not sure a young Rani would have behaved this way.

The story has interesting moments, I like the strange red girl, and am interested to know what her motives are. Can't put my finger on it, just something isn't fully clicking.

Maybe that'll be different in the second part, 6/10.
