Judoon Officer Captain Tybo crash lands on Earth, his Prisoner, Androvax escapes, and poses a huge threat to Earth.
Well that was a very impressive episode I thought, action packed, fast paced, with one or two moments of humour, an old foe, and an impressive new one. A very strong start to the third series, maybe a tad more exciting than the norm.
I e alway thought how nice it would be for Dr Who villains to appear here, but in all fairness the show produced some great ones of its own. The Judoon weren't my personal favourite, but I understand why they have a following. Androvax however was really impressive, he looked great, and was a good old fashioned villain, arguably better than any on Dr Who to feature over the last few years.
Sladen really does shine here, and we see a slightly more sinister side to her, I'm still utterly devastated by her early passing, what a beautiful, wonderful actress was lost.
This was a classic, 9/10.
