Save yourself time

I didn't expect anything from this film expect maybe a little decent action and some nudity. There was more pointless violence than action and a flat chested chick for like one stupid scene. Hollywood has been in a slump for a while but there was a time you could find a decent B-rate flick and still be entertained by the end of it. I found it hard it hard to make it past the first half hour. Disappointing because it seemed interesting with the opening scene but this whole thing with the psycho coupled played out like a poor man's Natural Born Killers. I got this rental for free and I still and I still want a refund.

Unwatchable nonsense.
Top_Dawg_Critic31 March 2023
Ya, it's that bad. I couldn't handle all the amateur-hour and infantile nonsense this mess had. Everything from the acting, directing, sound (have they heard of boom mics), terrible excuse for gore - especially the demon's cheap Halloween mask and costume. That outfit felt like it was purchased at a Dollar Tree. Then you have a screenplay that felt like it was written by a fifth-grade drama class. Even the lame attempts at dark comedy were a flop and more of an eye-roll than anything funny. Every actor, even Fox, seemed like they've never taken an acting class. I can't believe this nonsense was green-lit, funded, and went to market. It's a generous 3/10, only because Fox still looks foxy.

What happened to Megan Fox?
solojere8 May 2023
I got this at Redbox without knowing anything about it, and in hindsight, I should've looked it up. That is where it all went wrong. Most would agree that Megan Fox was never the greatest actor of all time. She got by a lot of her looks in the past and lately has been in just straight-to-video movies, but this has to be an all-time low for her. She still has her looks in this movie, but that's about it. Her acting is wooden and rushed, like she is reading her lines. And the other actors are just as bad. The acting is so bad in this movie it is almost laughable, and there really is no plot. It's just a lot of random stuff loosely connected. It tries to make up for it with a lot of violence and skin, but sadly that isn't enough. More than once, I asked myself, "What am I watching?" and "Who writes this stuff?" The only reason I didn't give this a one is because the demon thing was cool looking, although it came out of nowhere. All in all, skip this one, and if you wanna see Megan Fox, just watch the original Transformers.

The Worst Movie Ever
kayciancia5 May 2023
This movie was horrible including the acting and plot! What a waste of money and time. Don't rent it, you'll be sorry! I kept watching thinking it had to get better but it only got worse. The actors are so bad and their characters are unbelievable. It is too bad that a director can say he directed this movie, even I could have done better. I was shocked Megan Fox would star in this role, she must be desperate for work. The scenes with Jonnie and Clyde were absolutely disgusting. I watch movies for art and the entertainment. If someone wants to watch this good luck only a sick minded person would find this enjoyable.

Absolute Trash
NickGagnon94212 May 2023
So I watched the newly released Johnny & Clyde and I really cant see myself seeing a film worse than this for the rest of the year. This was insanely bad. Its basically a low budget version of Natural Born Killers. It has a young couple in love going on a killing/crime spree. They get their friends together to knock over a casino owned by Meagan Fox. There is also some kind of evil entity following the main characters around with blades. I dont know this is cluster of nothing.

The film is a total mess of idiots being annoying. And thats the whole film. Idiots killing people and being despicable. Its trash at its worst.

Stay away from this garbage at all cost!!!
psxexperten24 March 2023
This was the most pointless excuse of a movie I have ever seen. I want my time back.

The plot holes are massive. I mean you would have to suspend all reality of society to believe some of the things that occur to set up the "story" or "plot" or whatever this thing is.

Why do films like this even get made? How do scripts like this get financed? Black mail? I don't get it. Even the acting sucks big time.

There are other parts where you will just shake your head and ask: Why. That's the main question. This is utter nonsense. Unless you're into watching a plot that moves in ways that confuse you and make you annoyed, I would avoid this movie.

Cryptic nothingness, emptiness personified, empty as a vacant room and I just lost all the little repect I still had for Megan Fox!
frank-liesenborgs9 June 2023
This film follows the ominous journey of a pair of serial killing lovers on the run. In a confusing turn of events, they join forces with a group of equally sadistic individuals, each characterized by generic and predictable personalities, such as a demolitions expert or a self-destructive barbarian who oddly adheres to Norse mythology. Their rash actions include planning a daring escape from a mental institution. The filmmakers seem to have completely missed the essence of iconic films like "Bonnie and Clyde," as this misguided attempt at a spin-off fails to induce any impression of seriousness. The screenplay lacks any coherent structure, leaving viewers without anything or anyone to invest in or care about. The story itself is so ridiculous that it becomes impossible to be genuinely offended by the actions of the characters, no matter how many innocent lives they claim. Even the choice of music for certain scenes completely misses the point. Intensifying the issue are the annoying performances that do no justice to the characters they portray. Every line of dialogue feels forced and is poorly delivered. No need to say: do yourself a favor and skip this one. Or, if you want to know how good another movie can be, go and watch this one. You will appreciate other movies more. But this one is so ridiculous, no words to describe it properly (without getting banned from IMDB). 1/10 is still a high rating for this "movie".

Couldn't get through it!
rarothville14 September 2023
I watched maybe 10 mins of this abomination! I skipped ahead a few times hoping it would get better but, between the characters timing being way off, the awful 80's sound track and the subpar acting I just couldn't get though another second!! It's legit like a bunch of high school kids put this together! For a class assignment they didn't want to do! Just awful with no redeeming qualities.... At all!!

I honestly think my kids could act better and do a better job using my iPhone. Don't waste your time, it's not even so bad that it's good or that you can laugh at it, it's just awkward and you feel bad for anyone that out their name on it.

If Ratings Could have Negative Numbers...
arfdawg-118 April 2023
This movie is actually worse than the other two reviewers say! It's a complete and total mess.

The director is incompetent. The writer has no clue how to tell a story and the acting? It's literally laughable. Who are these two? They can't act their way out of a paper bag.

The costuming looks like they went to a second hand clothing store and picked items you'd only see on RuPaul's show.

Nothing makes sense. Megan Fox, who is also a really bad actor, is in it for 2 minutes in the beginning and then you wont see her again for another 20 minutes. You'll have to sit through the Johnny and Clyde bad acting. She basically took the money and walked through her clay faced part. In fact, I get the feeling they filmed all her scenes in half a day and inserted them into the film after it was made.

Who gave this the green light? Bai Ling? Who, for some weird reason is an associate producer! Huh?

Full disclosure: I fast forwarded through the movie waiting for the so called demon. He comes in with 30 minutes left to the film and man oh man is he a disappointment. Honestly, I'm not sure if this was supposed to be a drama or actually a comedy. It's that bad.

Both offensively and objectively awful and OMG the acting.
stevelivesey-3718320 November 2023
I am ten minutes into this abomination of a movie and feel compelled to start writing my scathing review of this nonsense before I have finished watching it.

It has been written by a Z list actor and director (someone who has appeared in so many movies that I have never heard of) who clearly has not progressed in life beyond being a priapic teenager who clearly fancies himself as a budding Tarantino. Nothing makes any sense. The acting, script and direction are terrible. Why is Megan Fox in this? Oh yes, I remember now, she can't act either.

Clearly in the running for being one of the worst movies ever made. Twenty five minutes in and nothing has changed. I'm out.

Felt like nostalgia
jenbarbeito14 June 2023
Remember being a kid /teen watching "USA up all night" ?

Watching "Johnny and Clyde" felt like that!

If you are looking for a film that requires you to pay attention to details and think super hard while going deep within yourself to relate to the characters leading you to feel like you just witnessed something life changing, this movie isn't that and I was thrilled!

Thank you Director Tom DeNucci!!! It felt like my bestie and I were teens again having a sleepover watching one of those early 90s films. It was awesome to feel like we went back in time and for a moment we weren't thinking about or seeing stuff related to the world we live in today.

Although this is a crime /action flick I appreciated the gore being old school as well (minimal). I know what I'm about to say might sound weird for this films genre but I found it light hearted, like it's not that serious, it was a good time.

It was cool to see Robert LaSardo in his role as "Candle" 😂 typically he plays a super intimidating and/or serious characters but "candle" is silly (in a deranged mentally unstable way) The details he put forth upon that character's personality disorder was done well. 😂I'm not gonna say more or I'll spoil it but it was so funny to me.

If this genre isn't your cup of tea and you find yourself watching this with a friend that is a fan of this genre you will at least have a beautiful cast to look at 😍 everyone is cast in the film is so damn attractive.

What do you got to lose? It's a fun film with hot folks, chill out on the couch / bed, perhaps have it on while you make dinner or traveling to your summer vacation either way I hope you laugh and finish the film with more inside jokes, I know my bestie and I did 🤣

Sorry Megan
aosora-0520315 June 2023
First time seeing her after Transformers in 2007. No chance to watch her films intentionally. But all of a sudden, when I turn on TV, I saw the title. No idea what happened to her but it's kind of nice seeing her again. So I clicked it.

The film wasn't that good. In frank, it's far from good.

Even so, it's ok watching it while laundry and laundry folding.

Anyway, it takes more than an hour and a half, right? Just turn it on and leave it till the end while back and forth. Just do your things. Then you might find some scenes are enjoyable and some scenes are entertaining. But sorry Megan, what happened to you?

Don't. Just don't...
ricardo-abreu-126 December 2023
... waste any time on this movie unless you're a big fan of Megan Fox and appreciate her tight clothes and body figure.

The screenplay is effortless, the actors are low cost and the special effects are... mmh... I don't even have a word for it. Empty characters with absolutely no content or context just pop in the story because someone thought they would make a striking appearance and add some visual impact. They don't. Positively no empathy for any of the characters on screen.

I watched around 250 movies this year and this one takes the gold medal with a one star from me. So, go watch it at your own risk.

Bad copy
kosmasp30 November 2023
No pun intended - I don't know if it really was necessary to connect this to Bonnie and Clyde. Probably set the expectations way too high. On the other hand the actors involved in this sound really interesting. Megan Fox alone ... who plays a bored Mafia boss (or whatever you would call her). I love her as much as any fan of hers does - but she does not do herself any favor playing this role. Crazy dialog and scenes ... that are supposed to be weird ... and maybe I am the wrong person to critisize this .. but I felt I wasted my time, while watching this.

Action is ok or decent. The cgi is abhorent though - does not work at all. Add to that the really crazy and out there scenes. It either needed more rewrites or got too many rewrites ....tough to say. What I can say for sure: the movie is a waste of time, action and some nudity do not make a movie better (yes I said it)

Johnny & Clyde
jboothmillard29 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I have been a member of the Golden Raspberry Awards voting panel for the last four years, there have been many times I have seen the films that are later nominated, but most of the time I find them following the nominations before I start voting, and this is one of those films. Basically, at the Four Horse Casino, investigative reporter Susan (Vanessa Angel) meets with its owner, crime boss Alana Hart (Razzie winning Megan Fox - she also won Worst Supporting Actress for Expend4bles the same year). Alana is questioned about "Bakwas", a killer who is apparently in her employ. She offers the reporter to sign a $2 million non-disclosure agreement, which she refuses, so Alana kills her. Johnny (Avan Jogia) and Clyde (Ajani Russell) are serial killers on an indiscriminate crime and killing spree, and a montage of their crimes is seen. Stopping at a gas station for fuel, Johnny takes exception to the stuttering attendant Jerry (Paul Mecurio) wishing him a safe trip to Rhode Island. Johnny psychologically tortures him before shooting him and stealing a handful of cash from the register and a candy bar. There is a news report that Johnny and Clyde have returned to Rhode Island, which overweight, alcoholic former sheriff Randall Lock (Armen Garo) watches; he wants revenge for the death of his daughter Elizabeth (Katherine Schaber) who was tortured and killed by the duo. Lock calls bail bondsman One Time (Sean Ringgold) to help him hunt down and kill them. Johnny and Clyde next hit an armoured vehicle bound for Hart's casino, killing most of the guards inside, but it turns out only to be a day drop. They leave one guard alive who offers them information about a secret hold filled with millions of dollars hidden by Alana. The guard is tortured and draws a map to the cash room and details its security. Lock and One Time have tracked the duo to a motel, but they manage to escape using the guard as a human shield to their gunfire. There is also an intervention from maniacal killer Zhang (Razzie nominated Bai Ling, also producing) who makes an indiscriminate attack. Knowing they will need help to rob the casino, Johnny reunites and assembles a team with his equally murderous foster-care brothers. They are suicidal thrill-seeker Butcher (Nick Principe), insane arsonist Baker (Charles W Harris III), and paranoid conspiracy theorist Candlestick (Robert LaSardo). Alana spends much of her time entertaining herself with her bondage-wearing male and female slaves and companions Honey (Brett Azar) and Pot (Sydney Jenkins) whom she forces to partake in dangerous games. She also bids on highly valuable antiques; when she loses an auction, she goes to the home of the winning Wealthy Tycoon (Claudio Orefice), claiming the object for herself. The casino's head of security Guy (Tyson Ritter) constantly updates Alana about all meddling with her business, and she is made aware of the crimes of Johnny and Clyde who are heading in her direction. While they form a plan, Candlestick warns the team of a satanic cult of the demon Bakwas, who performed a mass suicide at the site where the cash room was built. Guy informs Alana of the robbery of the armoured vehicle and suspects the serial killers, and Lock meets with her knowing about the secret cash room, believing they will hit it. This provokes Alana to meet with The Elder (Fred Sullivan), the cult leader, who hands her the mystical stone to control Bakwas (Nick Principe) and force him to guard her casino. To maintain the secret of the stone, Alana then kills the Elder. Before the heist, Johnny's crew takes an excessive number of illegal drugs. After killing the guards patrolling the perimeter of the facility, Baker sets up an explosive device to open the door. However, Baker accidentally kills himself after using a short fuse. The crew enter the building and are quickly ambushed by Lock and One Time, soon followed by Zhang behind them. This Mexican standoff is interrupted by Alana on a television screen announcing that the building has been locked and everyone will be dead by sunrise. One Time is killed when Bakwas appears. Johnny's crew goes down to the basement cash room, killing several guards on the way. They are trapped by an elite team led by Guy who traps them, but the mercenaries are killed by Bakwas. Guy realises that he has been betrayed as Alana is eliminating all witnesses. Guy gives his team permission to abandon their posts. It turns out that Alana already moved all the money and is preparing to leave town and reunite with her father. After Candlestick and Butcher are killed, Johnny and Clyde try to escape with a bag of money, unaware that it is counterfeit. Zhang, on orders from Alana's father, gets them out of the building. But Lock again ambushes them, killing Zhang and beating Johnny. When Clyde holds Lock at gunpoint, Lock reveals that Johnny killed her father (Daryl Marsh) and never told her. Clyde shoots Lock and hits Johnny with her gun, but calls his actions romantic because her father was abusive. Bakwas confronts them but the demon cannot leave the site. Instead, the creature kills Johnny and Clyde, impaling them with thrown machetes. Lock survived the shooting because he is wearing a bulletproof vest, he is gleeful seeing his daughter's killers dead before he is killed by Bakwas. Guy is the only survivor of the chaos and confronts Alana at gunpoint, demanding the stone. She gives it to him and, although she believes that she still controls Bakwas, the demon rips out her beating heart. Guy offers to treat the demon with "respect and dignity", but it kills him and places the stone in its body. Also starring Michael Zuccola as Cliff, and Chris Whitcomb as Mike. Fox as the easily agitated and scantily dressed ruthless mobster looks great but is amusingly cheesy, Jogia and Russell are unconvincing as the madly in love criminals, and the supporting cast are equally terrible. There are many things that make this an awful watch, the bad acting, the mediocre Bonnie and Clyde/Natural Born Killers inspired script, the predictable dialogue, failed attempts of humour, the silly heist and the ridiculous fantasy plot, it is just a mess, a rubbish crime horror. Pretty poor!

Still better than La La Land!
redwolf28386-893-9026220 November 2023
This movie is a comedy, a cheap one yes, but it still as some good laughs. We had a good time watching it, while the directing and filmography was weak at times( I hate static cameras shots), along with the acting( I blame this on the directors) I have seen a lot worse on movies with multi million dollar budgets. This movie is a good way to have a little fun without having to invest too much brain power and if you have to take a bathroom or popcorn break it's no problem- you won't miss anything crucial! Although this movie will not win any rewards (or make any money) and I will certainly never buy a copy, but would watch again!

good to see Megan fox!
yj-8927318 June 2023
Megan Fox's image transformation was excellent and her acting was great.

It was interesting to bring criminals from real crime cases as motifs.

It was fun because each character has its own personality.

Of course, Megan Fox's peak is during Transformers, but she still has an elusive strong impression.

There are also some disappointing parts of the story.

Also, the two actors who come out as Johnny & Clyde couple, to be honest, I don't think I've seen them often.

However, it does not unfold the story too seriously and heavily, so it is enough to watch the movie with a light heart.

It was not bad.

Return to Rhode Island
nogodnomasters22 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Alana Hart (Megan Fox) runs a casino in Rhode Island for her daddy in Vegas. She is ruthless and difficult to work with (imagine that) and spends every second on camera either showing off her cleavage or on facial close-ups. The casino grounds are protected by an "undead slasher" demon known as Bakwas. There is a back story. In a subplot Johnny (Avan Jogia) and Clyde (Ajani Russell) are serial killers and lovers who are driving home to Rhode Island after a cross country spree. Randall Lock (Armen Garo) wants to kill him for killing his daughter (Katherine Schaber). During a heist, our couple discover the casino has a hidden stash of money taken off the book with minimum security. They round up a gang to rob the place which includes Robert LaSardo, Nick Principe, and Charles W Harris III. Bai Ling has a role that didn't make much sense, but then that was par for the course.

This is a grindhouse style film that is dark comedy with a lot of killing scenes. Megan Fox is truly heartless in this film that didn't require any acting ability. Not a film for everyone.

Guide: F-word. Sex. Nudity (Sydney Jenkins )

Maegan Fox, I love you
gtrvjbrvhs15 June 2023
Interesting.

The actors' acting is the best. I'm so nervous until the end.

A movie that makes you interested in movies just by being able to see Megan Fox and shows the details of the directing.

The video is so luxurious and the character's personality. A movie that is elaborately represented so that you can concentrate.

Maegan Fox's beauty remains and the directing composition unfolds without being bored, making the whole time pass by.

I am happy to watch a good movie after a long time.

An interesting movie that conveys the emotions of movie stars that are too precious to watch alone.

I really enjoyed watching it.

this movie is good to kill the time!
jhw-0042426 June 2023
I recently watched an action movie that left me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. The film was packed with thrilling fight scenes, heart-pumping car chases, and explosive special effects that kept me engaged throughout. The plot was well-crafted and kept me guessing until the very end. The lead actor delivered a standout performance, bringing both intensity and vulnerability to their role. The supporting cast also shone, adding depth and complexity to the story. Overall, this action movie was a thrilling ride that I would highly recommend to any fan of the genre. I reccomend this movie when you are boring.
