If you compared this show to other pageant show about kids, this show was the same pageant in different states. The young contestants and their parents try to win the competition. The pageant director comes across as a stereotype. Despite the obvious competition before, during, and after, the pageants often takes place in modest affordable hotels. Yes, some parents spend too much money on these contests. Still, it's not as vicious nor malevolent like some reality shows. They do manage to keep it civil which is more than what I can say about some reality shows. I enjoyed watching it on WE television. It hasn't been shown in the last year. The judges are always the same in every episode. I don't what qualifies them for the job.
