- A man masturbate in the bed, but is interrupted before he can finish. No nudity is shown, although he moans in pleasure as he is carrying this out.
- A few sex scenes, one in particular shows a man penetrating a woman in bed from behind where she is heard moaning. No nudity, although the woman in one of the sex scenes is stripped down to her underwear.
- A teenage girl strips down to her bra and panties and takes photos of herself and sends the images to her boyfriend. He then replies with photos of himself (no nudity).

- A family's pet is killed as part of malice. Although the kill scene is not shown, the animal is seen dead with blood coming from it.

- You see people in the house in the distance walking past when no one should be there. It's created for jump scare dramatic scenes.

Violence & Gore
- A murdered baby is shown. This scene is brief but bloody and disturbing. Although the series is based on true story, this never happened in real life.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The show is about a family getting letters from a stalker that watches them while they try figure out who it is. The whole show is pretty creepy and disturbing.
- In the first episode, the son's pet ferret gets out of his cage overnight and the ferret is showing being grabbed by a dark figure. Later the next morning the ferret is shown dead and there is a pool of blood shown next to him. This could be a very intense scene for those who are more sensitive to animal cruelty. (No actual animal cruelty is shown in this scene.)
- Although the series is based on true events, many things in the show did not happen. Including the cult scene with the baby.
