It was nice and amusing series until...
redeem_er12 February 2022
It started out funny and warm to the heart, but it comes to the point where the episodes become repetitive and boring. No new stories, actors are added and removed they act in few episodes and leave. Bottom line no more stories to be told! It is supposed to be finished by episode 29.

Episodes 29 and above are poorly and badly written as if amateur writers wrote the episodes! Sad to see a funny series goes downfall.

Spoiler Alert
Gorgio8413 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Im up to Ep 29 and I must say this is where it goes down hill. Up until now Ozan has been dealing with that maniac Chalga finally she's exposed but they don't even show it. Next sp I episode is fast forward to Ozan and Esra married but only for the sake of their son. In comes another psychopath girl after Ozan. So rather than exposing Chagla properly after everything her and brother did they skip over it and Ozan an Esra both come out of fake marriages only to enter another one together!?! Ridiculous! Then another mad girl comes in like we didn't just have 28 episodes of this. Not to mention both the mums are so incredibly annoying. Ridiculous dumb scenarios. Econ an Elif like these two are so boring they could give them more believable challenges rather than making a joke out of them. So far it was good to watch an nice music.. but now we 29 is going bad. Not great viewing. Also just having a storyline of her keeping their son a secret for 5 yrs is just silly. It's soooo unrealistic. I know how these series go I've watched heaps but at least once give them a happy period. Some time where we see them enjoy themselves it just gets too much when u only see bad events and setbacks. Like obviously they need that in the script to keep it interesting but too many dramas it's gone overboard now. Sorry.

Korean drama remake.
sarcasticbydefault10 September 2021
Compared to other Korean drama remakes I like this version better than the original, except so far the original is a little funnier. It is refreshing to not develop second lead syndrome, I fully support the Esra/Oran ship.

It's cute and fresh
yve-eljerdy29 November 2021
I just hope if they had taken it easy on the makeup of the character Ozark, it shows so strong and it pisses me every time I look at him, the eyeliner and the eyeshadow are very apparent, the foundation and the blush,, everything.

The series is light and nice to watch.

You will love it. Quite different and unusual from other summer stories . Funny in many ways and the two leaders have great way to communicate.

Had to stop...
cindyarsenault-4421111 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This serie had a great potential, but the screenwriter ruined it... Let me explain. You start this show thinking the main focus will be Ozan and Esra, a divorced couple wich path had crossed who suddently appear in each others life again, only to find out, the're divorce was based on misunderstanding and miscommunication, and they are both very much still in love with each other. Our main character, Esra, then decide to take a job at her rich ex husband's firm to make him fall in love with her again. The first 10 episodes are funny, refreshing, with a chemistry like no other between the 2 leads and the story is heartwarming. Ozan starts to realize that he love's Esra again, or that he never really stopped.. they almost make up and then, at episode 11... the story takes a complete 360 and became a discusting love triangle between Çalga, another employee of the firm who has always loved Ozan, Ozan, who is out of the blue, proposing to Çalga out of rage, and Esra, who is trying everything to prevent this mariage. What is this?? For 5 episode now, every character is just miserable. Ozan, denying his feelings for Esra like he became another person in 1 episode and just go thru with the weeding preparations, Çalga acting completely blind to the fact that this is not a proposal of love but of revenge. They are no plot, they always run in circles with the same problems, and Ozgan became dislikable to a point i can't even watch the show anymore... how to throw away a show with great potential and make it useless..

Waste of time, money and good actors
swaycover7 May 2023
Well, could this have been worse? Surely, but it was bad enough to be dropped.

Quick review: boy and girl 1 love each other. Boy marries other girl - girl 2 - for the most stupid reason, tries to divorce her afterwards but is such a weakling, that he just can not manage that. Insert pregnancy here. At the same time he keeps keeps girl 1 as his mistress - insert pregnancy here. Girl 1 leaves him and returns 5 years later. Boy is still married to girl 2. Big chaos happens, nothing gets resolved but at least the weakling manages to get a divorce from girl 2 and marries girl 1.

Insert girl 3.....girl 3 is as obsessed and as much a psycho as girl 2.... Do I have to go on????

To be clear: the first 29 episodes are bad! The rest of the episodes are a remake of the first 29 but with a much weaker plot - and, you already have seen it, nothing new, even the conversations are the same as is the first 29 episodes.

This series is a waste of time, money and of good actors!

Funny and romantic
krumins-2524625 May 2022
Ozan and Esra were a nice couple but too much anger and revenge almost killed the love. The show was funny, thx to Zumrut, Menekse and Ekrem. Specially, Zumrut was my favourite, she was the best and led the show.

Good series
tempresident14 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I liked this series, until I started hating leading lady Esra more than the villain Chagla.

I can't stand Esra!!! She is insane, self-righteous, selfish, stubborn, completely ugly personality wise, rude (and her dresses are too short). Don't know why Ozan loves her so much. She doesn't deserve him. She does things to Ozan then blames him for doing it to her. Trademark of a narcissist. He wanted to divorce Chagla, Esra said no and left in the night. Now she blames Ozan for not leaving Chagla? He came to London, she sent him away. Now she's been waiting for him for months and blaming him for her suffering alone in London? He's been honouring HER decision to stay in London. She is completely deranged. And she justifies herself for hiding Ozan's child from him with "I have feelings too" crap. No, Esra doesn't have feelings, that would require her to have a heart. If she had a heart, she wouldn't be doing all this to Ozan over and over again. She needs to suffer...more so than Chagla. And she needs a better friend than Zeyno (weakling) who can stand up to her and tell her the truth about herself.

I don't want Esra and Ozan to end up together. I want Ozan to find another love and take his child from Esra with only visiting rights. That's what she deserves for everything she put him through. Only then will I get excited about the series again.

I love it, because it makes you laugh and sometimes cry :). It's not like the other series. It has depth and purity. Similar to Sen cal kapimi (which i love very much too), but i feel like i have started to love Ask Mantik a little bit more :)

Fantastic Summer Comedy
miguel-a-prieto19 July 2021
Is logic behind love? After love, are feelings left to want revenge? It might just be an endless loop: love, logic, love, revenge and love? This is the main plot of this series. Burcu Özberk is extremely talented and if she were fluent in English she could have made it in Hollywood.

simple summer series
tixietix15 August 2021
Don't even waste your time watching this crap. Actings are bad, the humor is lame, the scenario is extra superficial. But hey, if you are a 40+ y/o mom or a stupid teenager, give this show a chance.

Bravo Burcu
R-Bird-A3 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Bravo to Burcu Ozberk for shining once again. Her comedic timing and fun characterizations make it entertaining to watch.

I usually don't have patience with superfluous characters, but I have to say that the character, "Zumrut" was hilarious, along with Esra's mom, Menekse. Ilhan Sen quickly grew on me. He was charming, endearing and I was rooting for him. I did not like the parts where the leads are arguing or disconnected, but that is to be expected, I guess. There was TOO much of that here. Too much time where the leads were not connecting made it a drag and it lost some of its flavor.

Congratulations to the little boy who played Atlas. He was a perfect choice and so adorable. As far as the storyline goes, I have some complaints. Just a few examples: Ozan married Chagla?????? Are you kidding me? After the conversation with Esra? I was so upset! Also: Esra kept her child a secret from the father for FIVE YEARS? Outrageous. Another: What ever happened to the little girl that Ozan raised for those 5 years? He seems to have dropped her like a hot potato even though he was portrayed as being such a loving dad. I felt bad for her!

I was often frustrated with the story line generally because it became so complicated and depressing. Luckily, that boat was able to turn around and we were able to be happy for them a little. I would have liked to see more of that because they were very compatible.

I'd also like to comment on the choice of wardrobe. I am pretty accepting of many styles, but I found Esra's clothes to be increasingly unnecessarily risque, especially much, much too short. Who wears that stuff to an office, anyway?? Or anywhere for that matter! I was afraid to see her sit down in fear that it may give a "YIKES" alert. All in all, it was a good series to watch. Now I find myself going to YouTube to watch the edits. Very entertaining! If I didn't love Burcu and Ilhan together so much, the series would have receive a lower score from me. Their chemistry saved it.

You have to watch this series! Love this show!
luevetralboyd8 April 2023
This series is a must! Starts off as a RomCom then turns to a Romantic Drama. (Burcu)Esra and (Ilhan)Ozan nailed these roles. Ozan isn't the all together innocent guy, but he is complex and is easily angered which causes him to make rash decisions. It's as if he's trying guard his heart however he never has all the facts to make a good decision. Esra is immature and doesn't admit her feelings. She hides her true feeling to guard heart however this causes a great deal of pain. This series gives a great lesson of learning how to communicate, to reason and listen to all the facts before making a decision and how one sided love is always toxic/ dangerous. This is a must watch. You are going to laugh hard, cry, be in shock, get angry and hope they come out for this story still in love. Bonus: The music is always nice I'm this series! Love Logic and Revenge is the perfect name for this show.
