- Genya and David try to escape from the Darkling. Genya saves David and he escapes, but the Darkling catches Genya. Enraged, he unleashes his shadow monsters on her. Though off screen, her screams are audible as it is clear she is being tortured. She is later shown with multiple visible wounds and scars, and one eye white and blind.
- Inej investigates the masked killer and learns he is a taxidermist. That is how he knows the right places to cut on people. This discussion about him, and with him later, shows he enjoys making people suffer. She later confronts him, and he continues to taunt her. Plenty of blood. She uses the knife from Alina to spear through his neck.
