Sex & Nudity

  • There is an extremely brief, non-sexual shot of buttocks.

Violence & Gore

  • A dead body is shown covered in cuts, this happens very suddenly.
  • A man is forced to swallow a condom full of cocaine. He is then beaten, and pukes out the condom. It is forced down his throat again, then he is then stabbed repeatedly by a shadowed object. Blood splatters everywhere.
  • People are shown chained up, sprayed with high-pressure fire hoses, and overall treated like animals.
  • A man is shot very suddenly, and blood sprays.
  • A young girl is shown, dead, caught in barb wire.
  • People are attacked by a dog.
  • Surgery is performed forcefully on a man. The captors make a comment about how a general anesthsia would be too expensive/too much trouble, so he is alive when it takes place (at least until his organs are removed). They cut into his skin, and blood is shown spurting out. An organ is removed.
  • A man grabs a woman and forcefully makes her feel the brains of a dead man.
  • A woman's throat is graphically slit.
  • A man is shot in the head, blood sprays everywhere.
  • A man and a woman are branded graphically.
  • A man is tazered until foam comes out of his mouth.
  • The overall graphic content of the film is fairly low. A lot of the violence shown is hidden by shadows or left somewhat ambiguous. The film is still very disturbing and emotional.

Profanity

  • Moderate_ language, including at least six uses of the F word. Racist tergms are used throughout the film (mostly in es, usually to refer or directed at Hispanics (often to their faces).

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A man refers to "smoking a fatty."
  • A man injects a bound man's inner elbow with a large hypodermic needle (not consensual). The specific contents of the shot are not given, though before the injection, the man threatening the bound man tells him the shot was something prepared by the doctor to help "dull the pain".) Due to the blindfolded man's near-immediate reaction to the shot (he goes limp, eyelids grow heavy; he appears to have rapidly become extremely relaxed) then his reactions in a scene that follows (where he is very woozy, confused, appears to be completely stoned and numbly staggers several times), it is safe to assume he was drugged with a strong narcotic sedative of some kind, probably in combination with an opiate.
  • Cocaine is shown briefly (and not in a recreational manner).

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This film is EXTREMELY dark and intense.
  • People walk through a dark underground tunnel, very intense music plays and a dead body is seen.
  • A mother is separated from her young daughter in a very emotional and intense scene.
