- Quotes
Helen Chambers: [about his amnesia] So just to clarify, then, like, nothing?
The Man: You know, I keep telling myself to just try and remember, you know, but it's like trying to make yourself fly. No matter how much you think you're gonna be able to do it, you still just end up a bloody bag of bones and shit and fuckn' intestines.
Featured review
Episode 1
The Tourist is Jamie Dornan playing the unnamed 'Man.'
He is driving on the Australian Outback when a truck suddenly tries to drive him off the road. So far it is very much Steven Spielberg's Duel.
The Man manages to escape him but not for long. He wakes up in hospital not knowing who he is and why was someone trying to kill him.
When he later goes to a diner, it explodes. Someone is still trying to kill him.
Written by the Williams Brothers, the Australian location adds intrigue. There seems to be some dark humour here.
The Tourist shows more promise after the first episode. It looks more layered and you just know that some people befriending him are more involved.
