- Overall, Lyle is very sweet and timid though some of his roars can be a little intense. When members of the Primm family meet Lyle, they are taken off guard and very frightened. This is portrayed in a comedic way.

- When Lyle is captured by animal control he is cornered by armed, uniformed animal control officers. They eventually shoot him with a tranquilizer dart. The family is distressed.
- When Valentini and Josh are trying to free Lyle from the zoo the other crocodiles are trying to attack them. This scene is a little intense and ends with Lyle breaking the stand off by violently throwing one of the wild crocodiles across the pen.
