To stop her from getting hurt even more, Bambi, just before her wedding ceremony, reveals to Belle that Duncan is a punter. Poor Belle's world comes crashing down, she had seen a romantic future for herself after all. Understandably, she goes near-ballistic and chases Duncan off. Revenge is plotted, and Belle, urged on by Ben, fueled by coffee, writes the final chapter, toiling all through the night. It is e- mailed to all at the publisher's office, spilling Duncan's secret life of paying for prostitutes. Belle, feeling the need to get away, for closure, accepts the offer from the Madam to service a rich client who owns an island in the Maldives. Former boyfriend Ben slipped a funny note into her bag. He wants to resume their relationship. She tells the viewers "maybe..."
While the middle part is quite morose, with Belle down in the dumps, this is the episode in which the long-awaited move by Ben is finally made. Loved that little drawing he made of himself, that's Ben cut out exactly as he is! Not my favorite installment glam-wise, but a good end to the third season, the penultimate.
