Al Pacino has announced a new memoir titled Sonny Boy.
Due on October 8th via Penguin Press (pre-order here), Sonny Boy will see Pacino reminisce on the breadth of his life’s experiences, touching on “all of his great roles, his essential collaborations, and his important relationships,” according to its publisher.
Speaking to People, Pacino said: “I wrote Sonny Boy to express what I’ve seen and been through in my life. It has been an incredibly personal and revealing experience to reflect on this journey and what acting has allowed me to do and the worlds it has opened up… My whole life has been a moonshot, and I’ve been a pretty lucky guy so far.”
Upon its release in October, Sonny Boy will be available in hardcover, paperback, ebook, and audiobook formats. Pacino will narrate the audiobook himself. Pre-orders are ongoing.

It wasn’t quite a La La Land-level Oscar snafu, but Al Pacino likely wishes he had a do-over after semi-botching the announcement of Oppenheimer’s Best Picture win and failing to name the nominees on Sunday. Watch the clip below.
Addressing the situation in a statement today, the Scent of a Woman Academy Award winner and nine-time nominee said it was the producers’ call.
“There seems to be some controversy about my not mentioning every film by name last night before announcing the best picture award,” Pacino said in a statement through his reps. “I just want to be clear it was not my intention to omit them, rather a choice by the producers not to have them said again since they were highlighted individually throughout the ceremony. I was honored to be a part of the evening and chose to follow the way they wished for this award to be presented.

There's so much to watch on Netflix that it's tough to know where to start. Curious viewers looking for science fiction genre movies might turn towards established classics like "Blade Runner." They might return to the best superhero movies of all time, "Spider-Man" and "Spider-Man 2." Perhaps they might even bust out "End of Evangelion," the shocking movie climax of the "Neon Genesis Evangelion" television series, just to feel something.
But there's more available on Netflix than just that. The following films include anti-capitalist fables, groundbreaking animated movies, and a Korean science fiction film that overcame the odds to find success. They represent only a taste of Netflix's original offerings in the genre. Rather than blindly follow the streamer's algorithm, sci-fi fans may be better served by bravely plunging into the catalog in search of the unexpected -- or letting us curate some selections for you. You may be surprised...

When you're dealing with someone as deranged as Victor Strand, you have to be prepared for anything.
Fear the Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 12 could have been a strong outing of this struggling post-apocalyptic zombie drama, but the execution fell completely and utterly flat.
All of the pieces were there to make this one of the most shocking episodes in a long time.
We had two big deaths, backstabbing, and lots of zombie drama.
But the writers seem intent on making Strand come across as this merciless leader, and honestly, he's more a cartoon villain than anything.
Colman Domingo continues to act his butt off, so it's a shame the quality of the writing does not reflect the people playing these roles.
A paranoid Strand upped the stakes because it was obvious he would unleash holy hell inside the tower.
The idea of baby Mo being missing was a bitter pill to swallow,...
